My daughter and I visted Skylark for the first time yesterday for a couple of bands.  The music was GREAT! And we loved the bartender. He was totally "On it" as far as keeping us happy, our drinks filled and well-fed.
We ordered the monte cristo sandwich with hand cut fries. NOW usually I hate hand cut fries, they tend to be floppy and undercooked. I made fun of my daughter for not ordering the tots. But lo and behold, the fries were crispy and yummy. Also I usually don't like the Monte Cristo sandwich from other places, but this was sooooo good. We also ordered a salad and that was good, but the dressing tasted like oil. That is ok since I don't really like dressing anyway.
I can't wait to go back and see what else is yummy on the menu. I scoped out the Mac N Cheese which I think I will try next time. I wanted to order the cookie and ice cream in a skillet, but my daughter was too full. I guess next time. I'm glad we didn't eat before we got there, the food was a pleasant surprise.

I've been to Skylark many times for breakfast. I love this place so much, my hard to please parents love it too and request that we go here every time they're in town.

This spot won me over from the get go with a chocolate chip peanut butter banana pancake. When the server brought the pancake I was a tad miffed at first thinking, they forgot my banana and peanut butter. Oh no, everything was stuffed inside the pancake, it was probably one of the best things I've ever eaten. On top of that Skylark was playing old timey cartoons on their projection screen. I knew I had found "my place."

Their scrambles, breakfast burritos, oatmeal, mimosas, and breakfast sandwiches are all great. If I lived in West Seattle I'd be here all the time, but this place is good enough that I'll frequently make the drive from Queen Anne.

Great venue space, went there for the first time a few nights ago and had no idea it was as large as it is. Looking forward to going to a show there sometime soon. The food is general pub-grub, everything smelled yummy, exactly what you want after a few beers. Nice beer, cider, wine, and cocktail selection. It's a bar, not a 5 star restaurant!
