Hudson

I love coming here for breakfast. The service is fast and the staff friendly.  The chicken-fried steak with eggs are fantastic as are the huevos rancheros.  The breakfast margaritas are also good, if you enjoy a drink with your breakfast.

Overall I have had a pretty good experience here.  Mostly lunches and breakfast a couple of times.  Food is good, served at temperature and generally creative and tasty. Knocking a few stars as the service seems to have deteriorated significantly.  Can't rate the food from our latest visit as we never did get served!  Seated at the counter, had to request menus.  No problem.  Had to request someone to take our drink order - slightly annoying but not huge.  Watched at least three parties that came in after us have their orders taken AND at least one delivered.  Asked if we could place an order and were told "I am not your server but I will let her know"

We left.

Try upping the game just a bit and we'll return for another try ourselves.

I positively love the Hudson.  I work the night shift and this place has definently earned its place on the list of best places to drink before noon in Seattle.  The brisket omelette is positively amazing and the bloody mary's are some of the best in the city.

The staff is always extremely friendly and polite and yet they still manage to be fast and accurate.  I'm already looking forward to my next trip.  

If your thinking of going to the 5 Point Cafe I'd really recommend this place instead.
