1881 Club

If you're gnarly like me, get the bloody mary with garlic vodka and all the fixings, atomic style.  Parking lot in back.  Lots of regulars.  Bags of chips for sale.

This place is one of the divest bars I've been to and that's saying a lot coming from NY's East Village.  The bathroom urinal smells like it's got a straight pipe to the septic tank that services all of Los Angeles.  The employees here were to busy eating and watching Two and  a Half Men to really be attentive to our drink needs. There is a MP3 jukebox, two dart machines and a pool table.

Basically, I love this place! Perfect for the down and dirty drinking that I prefer to do. My buddy and I were able to order our beers, drink in peace and catch up on old times over some darts and pool.  If you're not looking for a scene and just want a chill hang, I recommend 1881 Club.

Very cool dive bar, that doesnt try to be something it's not. Strong cheap drinks, one pool table, two dart boards and hardly any room for anything else. Perfect place to come and unwind after the week if you don't feel like dealing with Colorado Blvd. and the hipsters, paying for parking, and dodging the cops after you left a bar.
