Boyles Tavern

Inexpensive pub, we sat at the bar because you seem to get the best service in my experiences. I enjoyed the beer selections and the food; it was a little too warm for my taste. We would have stayed longer if they had their ac running.

I frequented T Boyles a few summers ago while in college and kind of forgot about it until it popped up on Yelp and made me reminisce about the good ol' days. It's a divey, hole in the wall bar that I never would've known was there if it weren't for a friend. This place is seriously awesome though! It's so laid back, they have a good selection of beer (PBR on draft too!), pool tables, free peanuts, and trivia/bingo nights! I've been to both trivia and bingo here and it's a blast! Although be prepared... you'll be playing trivia against the Caltechies, which can prove to be quite a challenge :)

This is the official post-game bar of The Pasadena Purveyors of Yard. After we're done hitting tape measure shots at Brookside, you'll catch us grabbing a pint or seven from bartender Mike.

Mike's a true gentleman. A man's man. A throwback to days of old. Not only does he remember your name, but the man looks you straight in the eye and delivers a firm handshake. I don't require much from a bartender other than cold beer, but Mike certainly adds that extra touch that keeps us coming back for more.

It's worth mentioning they're also taking 20% off your bill if you come in wearing your softball jersey after games.
