Slater's 50/50

Wish I lived closer.

Went there a couple of weeks ago with a friend. Needless to say, the burgers are great... juicy and full of bacon-ey goodness. Also, she and I are gluten-free, so we were put up well with a gluten-free bun, and were promptly told which sauces were not gluten-free. Our waitress, Reichele, was great! Good personality, service, and very accommodating. Recommend this place.

Their grilled cheese is.amazing!!!!

Atm: a sports bar no doubt, with their many televisions and 100 beers on tap!

Service: We came here for dinner on the weekend and the service was awesome, we had a party of 10 and the waiter was attentive making sure everyone had beers and waters filled. I also came here for lunch, and their service was not  good, when we walked in the host was no where to be found and the waiters walked past us multiple times before someone (not a waiter) finally asked if we were helped. Our dinner waiter and service was a lot better than lunch. So take your pick on when you want to come, but if you're working in the offices nearby you might want to head elsewhere for lunch.

Food: The Vampire Dip is a must get if you love creamy cheesy goodness. They claim it's garlic, artichoke, cheese dip, but all I taste is cheese; LOVE. Their grilled cheese is my go-to meal, I'm a cheese lover and this definitely satisfies my love for cheese. Cheese on the outside and inside of sourdough bread. DELICIOUS!
What Slater's is known for is their burgers, you get the option to customize your own burger and name it with many options possible: types of beef, cheese, bread, sauces. Their signature burger is their 50% beef and 50% bacon. The burger of the month was made of 100% bacon. Unfortunately I'm not a huge fan of bacon, so I opted for other options. Cheese....

I would definitely come here again, because I LOVE cheese and their cheese options for "design your own burger" is extensive too. I'll leave the bacon love for others out there.
