Congregation Ale House

Great beers but horrible service. Wait staff is neglectful and argumentative. Food menu is incredibly limited.  After ordering the server brought me the wrong item.  When I brought this to his attention he tried to argue with me rather than fixing the mistake.  After speaking to the manager he ended up comping the food, but never did bring us the correct items or offer to fix it in any other way.  It's a real shame as the place has tremendous potential to be amazing.

Cool little place. Good scenery :-) Had the rib eye burger. Tasty but on the small side. Probably the right amount actually. I lost weight even after eating there lol. Along with a side of potato chips and a there Piraat Belgium Ale. 10.5% I would come again for sure.
Good location and parking is descent.

I don't know how this place isn't a easy home run but they managed to turn me away.  In my several visits I have yet to get the check without having to send it back.  Some how they always "forget" to credit me the happy hour prices or have "accidentally" added on an item we didn't order.  So far I am 8 of 8 times for this happening.  Annoying, but easy to forget with their above standard beer list and great outdoor patio.  However, forget asking any of the waiters or waitresses about which beer they recommend.  My last visit went a little like this....  "Can I get this IPA?"--- "Sorry we just ran out of that."---- "Ok, what other IPA would you recommend?" ------ "Well, I don't really like hoppy beers so I can't help you with that."  Really?  I don't expect every person to love the same beers as me but educate yourself about your menu.  Who hired that person to work at a craft beer gastropub?

Hopefully things can change.....
