Okay drinks.  Can get packed.  And they're stingy about letting people upstairs.

"Take care of me and I'll take care of you."  This was said to me on the two times I went.  That meant if we slipped him a $10 or $20, he'd let us in.  What?  Get out of here.

I don't know why I still come to Menage. I have given it a shot time and time again, but it has not improved, and I so wish it would as it is one of the few places in the Pasadena area that has dancing music.

The club has two stories, and different DJs spinning on each. Unfortunately, there's not much variety in music between the DJs from what I've experienced. It is mostly a whole bunch of hip-hop with a few songs of Top 40 scattered in between (and I mean snippets of these songs before going back to rap songs -- which is definitely lame). Each floor has a bar, which is generally packed like at any other club. The bartenders are nice and ready and quick to serve you, but the drinks are pricey and not all that great.

Honestly, the place gets really sloppy. There are always drinks spilled on the floors, which makes it a trial to dance. The stripper poles on the second floor don't really help the situation either. And there is a lot of unwanted attention that is given.

I can only hope this place will get better.
