Magnolia Lounge

Shortly after posting my review on I was contacted by one of the owners, Brian.  He was very apologetic and he seemed to really care that our experience was not up to the standards he expects his establishment to meet.  He addressed each issue the group I was with encountered and has since sent my friend and I a gift as an offer to give Magnolia another chance.  I just wanted to say, I really appreciate the customer service shown after what was a difficult night at Magnolia.

Happy Hour! All day Monday, Tues-Sat 4:30pm-8pm; entire restaurant; 30% off food & dessert + drink specials (closed Sundays, i think). Check website for accurate time listings - it seems like they change the times around frequently.

Magnolia Lounge is the perfect place for girl's night out gathering. The ambiance is perfect and the feel of the lounge is very hip yet cozy. They have indoor seating, outdoor seating and couches. I wouldn't recommend the couches unless it is just 2 people because the layout of the couches are really squishy for parties of 3+. I made reservations the day before (off their website, not Opentable) and I got to pick my preference for seats. I chose couches for my party of 3 which was okay but mighty squishy because the tables are really low and there wasn't that much room for all the food we ordered. Oh, and the place is LOUD. Prepare to shout!

The food was surprisingly tasty! I think it is priced a bit high regularly but for 30% off, it was worth it.
- French Fry trio: MmmMMm..I have a bit of a fries addiction and this appetizer was definitely the bomb! The trio consists of potato wedges, regular skinny fries and sweet potato fries. It was complemented with 3 dipping sauces but all you really need to know is that their GARLIC DIPPING sauce is the best!
- Calamari: good amount, very fried and salty though
- The Cobb sandwich: HUMONGOUS! The chef cut it in 4 so we could split it easier and the bread was really good! It also comes with a large helping of carrot chips.
- Steak salad: Good portion size and the steak was tasty. Something refreshing.

We spent about $15 (including tax+tip) for all of the above which I think is a good deal for the quality of food we got. I also really like the generous time frame for HH - ending at 8pm + on Saturdays is really nice. Service was amazing also! I will definitely be back!

Parking: Park at the Ross parking lot for 2 free hours. It is just a short walk across the street to Magnolia Lounge.

It's an awesome place to go after work for a girl's night or even just a cute local place to chill at.

Parking is convenience (You can park in the Ross parking lot across the street after 7PM it is free)

When you check into yelp, you get 15% off your entire bill.

I ordered a glass of Chardonnay and it was perfection.

The tequilatini my cousin got was amazing! I will get that next time.
