This is a neat little wine bar with a good selection of wines. Â The pricing is not too bad for a wine bar with a modest corkage fee (I believe this is waived on Mondays). Â The location is rather small, so large groups can be a challenge to fit in. Â The staff are knowledgeable and helpful; they can order specific vintages if you request as well. Â The food selection is rather limited, but the Napa flatbread is very good. Â My greatest complaint is the seating, which is rather uncomfortable. Â It reminds me of sitting in a booth at McDonald's in that it is ok initially, but you would not want to spend several hours sitting on that seat. Â Unfortunately, I would like to stay longer such that the seating becomes a problem.
Review Source:Fantastic wine bar. Especially on Monday when there is no uncorking fee. It is so incredibly inexpensive when they don't have a fee. The ambiance is excellent and *most* of the servers there are excellent (aside from a rather snotty male server who I always try to avoid). The cheese plates have always been very good and reasonably priced. I've enjoyed the salads and other appetizers there as well. They also have a nice outdoor patio.
Review Source:Nice quiet spot to relax with a glass of wine and friends. Great wine by the glass selection--not just your standard cab, merlot, point. Very attentive service and the bruschetta was fresh. Had one weak/older glass of Rhone, but they opened a fresh bottle without hesitation.
The upside: Happy Hour . . $5 on select wines; and the wines were good choices--a French white blend, a Cali rose, etc.
The only downside: the corking fee...seems stupid, but that could be a state law.
Overall, I would recommend (and if I lived in Ohio, I'd be going back often!).
