D'Agnese's Trattoria and Cafe

No doubt about it - the food is delicious! Friday night was our 5th visit to Dagnese's At White Pond Akron, and another fabulous dinner!  Luckily  I was able to get a table - they were really busy.  Made a mental note to make reservations for the dining room during prime time dining on Friday and Saturdays.  Whether it's a group of 10 or just my husband and I - the service and food has been great.  The decor is upscale however, I along with half of the other guests dressed casual - which is just fine.  My first visit to Dagnese's was on a Thursday evening - and although we were planning on having a quiet dinner - to our surprise there was entertainment in the lounge. So, we we ended up eating and drinking in a busy but still comfortable setting in the lounge - and had a blast singing along!  So far I rate this place 5 stars!

I was looking forward to trying this place after looking at many of the reviews and ratings online.  It seemed like a great place to eat, especially as I entered, because they place was bustling.  The wait staff was courteous, prompt, and kind.  The food was fresh and decent, but much of the food lacked seasoning.  If you're looking for relatively bland food, this is your type of food.  I will say that if you like food to be minimally manipulated, this is your place.  I also think the prices are a little high for the food.

Good food, excellent service, and reasonable portion sizes (not too much, not too little).
