  We went here in a pinch last weekend because the wait was very, very long at the restaurant we originally wanted to order form.  So we decided to just get take-out and eat at home.  The food wasn't very good.  I'm not one to knock chain food - there are plenty of chains whose food I enjoy a lot.  Applebees isn't one of them.  I got the turkey avocado sandwich on ciabatta bread.  The turkey was ice, ice cold.  Like it had just come out of the freezer cold.  And it was slimey - like it was defrosting slimey.  The avocado was decent.  The ciabatta roll wasn't very good.  And it was supposed to come with a green goddess dressing -- I didn't taste that at all.  I was really disappointed in the sandwich and ended up tossing most of it.  We split the pretzels appetizer.  This was the one upside -- the beer cheese dip was very yummy.  Overall, I just can't see us returning to Applebees.

  Today's food was good. The service was amazing until the bill got dropped off @10:35pm. I waited/watched patiently but the server never came back for the bill. The server thought I was just hanging out & chilling. Earlier when I asked for the bill, I told the server I was ready to go. So at 11:35pm, I walked up to the Bar & asked the Bartender for the manager. The manager came out & listened to my concern as mentioned above & apologized for this mishap. The server approached me asking me what's wrong. I asked the server "can I be honest?", the server said sure. I proceeded to let the server know that the food was great, the service was great, then the bill was never collected & I was ignored for 1 hour & I had a long day so I was starting to drift/nod off at the table I was sitting at.
  I've been to this location a few times & everything is normally remarkable. Today was a 1-star visit for failing to collect the bill in a timely manner. I hope that this is taught during a staff training so this doesn't happen again.

  Great lunch time deals and our waitress was very nice and on top of her game.  Seems they have specials going on everyday - which is great for a family on a budget!!

  Was in the area and needed a quick lunch after driving for 2 hours.
  
  Service:  4-stars
  Was actually surprised.  It had been a while since my last visit to an Applebee's but this experience was actually a good one.
  
  Food: 3-stars
  It's corporate food... but the portions were good and the food was tasty.  As long as the cook staff can follow the pictures on the wall it's hard to mess up the food
  
  Price: 2-stars
  Nearly $40 after tip for lunch for two.  OUCH   We didn't even order the expensive entree's or drinks from the bar.  If this had been for dinner it wouldn't have been as big a deal, but would have expected a dinner sized portion.

  I'm a little shocked no one has reviewed this yet. This is like the go to restaurant for WSC students. I personally love Applebee's. The waitstaff is wonderful. The menu has lots of options. The food is delicious. The desserts are even better. Drinks are good. And, they don't give me funny looks when I ask for the coloring menu and crayons. ;-) Cheers to Applebee's!

  I went here not that long ago and had an ok experience
  
  i got there tilapia and it was completely charred. i've had other things here and they were just ok. the reality is that all the food is like microwaved stuff. you'd be better of making your own stuff, than wasting your money on mediocre food
  
  the other thing i can't understand is why the hell is it always so busy?
  maybe because it's the only one in the area
