Don't drive too far out of your way...
If you've ever eaten wings at a bar you've had wings that could rival EB's. I don't get what all the fuss is about here. The fare isn't any different than the typical frozen Ruby Tuesday's kind of culinary tom foolery. The seafood chowder was good but a little nerve wracking. It was on the verge of curiously fishy. The fried platter was as good as you cold make it from a bag at home. Lot of fries. Lots of greasy bar food. The wing sauce was spicy but there was unexpected asian sauce influence.
Even if you want to sit down, order at the counter when you walk in first. It's a nice, comfy local-family sort of vibe. Like a dive bar that wants to be restaurant very badly.
I worked down the sidewalk from EB's at the lave for at least 10 years; I eaten many a delish lunch there. When you go visit, tell them Susie their favorite " Daytime Vampire" sent you!! I miss them much since I moved to Miami.
Ed and crew make a wicked 24K wing (like a spicy honey bbq flavor)!
Their boneless wings are huge and meaty. Portions were also generous. I've probably tried almost evrything on their menu over the years and I really have no complaints. Â Give them a try if you like Chicken and American/Itailan food.
Very friendly service and a nice place to sit down to eat while watching a game. All at reanonable prices
