We went on a sunday afternoon and there was a live band, happy hour drinks and tons of people!

Did you know this is one of the rare places that has a beach bar ON the beach? And better yet - if you want to opt out of the crowd,  rent an umbrella and chair next door and pull up next to the band.

Food. A-OK, typical bar food. Hot dogs $4 - best bang. THe nachos were pretty good -enough to split for 2.

Service - well they are really busy so it is what it is but you can't beat being on the beach with a live band.

    Will def return.

My friend and I tried to get service for more than 20 min!!!! No one said anything to us. 4 bartenders passed us and just kept walking one was busy talking to some young girls at the bar and the other one just looked down every time we tried to make eye contact. We will never go back!

Somehow, after almost a dozen visits to AC, I've missed out on Bally's beach bar. It's right off the boardwalk with a great view of the beach. Fruity cocktails always taste good, but aren't they at their maximum flavor when you can see the waves at the same time?

We went on a Sunday afternoon, and the place was pretty packed! My bf said it best in his review, "Most of the crowd (and it was a little packed) consisted of typical fist-pumping bros, young ladies traveling in pairs, and middle aged couples who've seen the inside of a plastic surgeon's office." There was no cover, but I'm guessing there would be one on a weekend evening.

The drinks were reasonably priced for a beach bar in AC. We only ordered one round of the yard drinks that you'll notice many bros and bikini girls carrying around. They were only $13 dollars and well worth it for the amount of alcohol inside. There was a surprisingly large menu of cocktails, with many categories and container sizes of boozy beverages. I vaguely recall a last page with a few food items, but who really cares. The bartenders were not friendly, but they made strong drinks so who really cares about that either.

We had a nice, relaxing time well spent with lots of Jersey Shore people watching. Will definitely be back for the ambience and beachy cocktails too.

I would be giving the beach bar a 4-5 if it wasn't for the rude cocktail waitresses who work there. The waitress drops a few empty bottles off her tray by my feet, I pick them all up for her and throw them away, she stares at me and turns the other way without  smile or "thank you." A lot of the other waitresses seemed snobby as well. Yes, some of the waitresses are attractive but they need to realize they're not the hottest girls in the world.

Overall, scene and music were great. It does get crowded but if you don't mind waiting for a drink then go for it.

I don't know anyone who can turn down a beach bar. It has summer written all over it. We wandered over to the bar to escape the afternoon sun, and wait for our room to be ready. The name of the place says it all. It's located on the boardwalk side of Bally's and most of the servers are pretty girls in orange bikinis.

Most of the crowd (and it was a little packed) consisted of typical fist-pumping bros, young ladies traveling in pairs, and middle aged couples who've seen the inside of a plastic surgeon's office. There was no cover at the time, and there was a decent cover band playing.

We only had a couple of drinks. 24oz concoctions in those novelty funnels. They were strong, tasty, and ran for $13. Next time I'm on the boardwalk, a return trip is in order.

While walking along the boardwalk you can hear the sounds of top 40 rising up in the air that makes you want to stop and get your dancing on right there on the boardwalk. My friends and I came for drinks and dancing. There was no cover. The drinks were delicious and the music was the best part of the night. Garden State Radio, a cover band, was there performing. The female lead singer was awesome as she would jump off the stage and dance and sing with the people at the bar. SHE WAS REALLY GOOD!

There weren't very many people there that night but I'm sure it was because it was a COLD night. When it warms up, I have no doubt this place will be poppin'. Besides, I enjoy dancing much more when I don't have to rub up on sweaty bodies accidentally. ;) This spot was definitely the highlight of my AC trip and I'd rather come here than pay some crazy cover for the Pool After Dark (which we did do the next night).
