Barnaby's of Northbrook

I want to like Barnabys. I seriously do. But there are zero healthy options on the menu and their cheese pizza even made me sick the last time I was in. I'm giving it 4 stars though because that was only one time out of the dozens I've been and the bartender was cool and gave us a pitcher of Shirley Temples for my kids.

It's not fantastic, yet not terrible.  "A-OK" is a pretty valid description.

I love thin crust, rather than the touristy deep dish.  I don't know what I dislike about Barnaby's though.  Maybe it's too tomatoey.  It's decent though.  Get it with bacon and jalapenos, you won't regret that topping choice.

Meh, I've experienced better.

Like literally. I met up with my friends here tonight for dinner, they have three kids, one of which was in his little baby seat thing sleeping and the other two were with me in the booth behind the booth their mom and dad was in. I needed to raise my voice in order to talk to both of them and the booths were so small that I even had trouble fitting in them with other people. And I'm not like 300lbs or anything.

It was just a really uncomfortable experience with sub par pizza (though I will say their green olive/tomato pizza was pretty good. The pepperoni was cardboard unfortunately). Cheap pitchers of beer, really watered down individual glasses of pink lemonade and diet coke, and it would be great if they had napkins on the tables in holders or something.

Soooo overall, I don't think I'd be back, or recommend we go there again (my friends and I) if we're meeting up. I'd rather go to some other little crappy chain.
