Ordered the Sabroso Burrito. Â I'm pretty sure they subbed green peppers for jalapenos--yuck! Â And worse, the salsa was awful and clearly jarred or canned. Â I swear I got fresh salsa here during my last visit a year or two ago. Â Probably won't return for a long time after this disappointing visit.
Review Source:Anyone who gives this place less than four stars is an asshole. I grew up down the street from Georgie V's, and over the past 10+ years, it has become a staple for my family. The food is great - whether you're in the mood for breakfast or lunch, it's all good. The owner and his family are lovely, and are present in the restaurant all the time. Perhaps the best thing about this place is the consistency. You always know what you're going to get, and it's always great. Sometimes, on a Saturday or Sunday morning, you may have to wait. Oh my. It is a diner, people. And one of the best.
Sadly, I live in the city now, so I don't get to frequent Georgie's as much as I'd like, but I always look forward to it when I'm in the burbs.
