Go here if you don't feel like cooking tonight and don't want to stuff your system with greasy unhealthy food. No doubt the salad bar is good most of the crowds flock to the bakery section. The food is average but freshly cooked. Watch out for month specials. I went their in April which was lemon special with lemon ginger salad, lemon moouse and lemon cream pasta on the menu. The dessert is mostly frozen yogurt with nutty toppings.
Just about right for a dinner with family because its not too heavy on the wallet.
.
As a family, sweet tomatoes has come in handy many times but I have to call out two changes of late that will not keep me coming back.
The first change is to their family meal deal, used to be around 19.95, now it is 24.99. They justify the cost creep in that drinks are now included, but we used to not get drinks, just water, to keep the cost at 19.95. That is a major turn off for us.
The other thing I noticed was that the butter no longer is provided in paper cups, it is now found in the potato bar toppings in a bin.
While I can appreciate the changes from a business perspective, I am not crazy about them from a customer perspective.
Sorry ST but this might just be the end of our cheap and somewhat healthy family eat relationship.
