Gusto Italiano

We had dinner here for the first time and I adored it.   It was different from your typical super modern look, and done in a very earnest, even romantic way. The servers were very attentive and service was impeccable.  The owner greeted us with a welcoming smile and bartender was adorable and efficient.  

We sat at a table for two. The restaurant had great atmosphere, and very comfortable.

The fresh bread was delicious; the salad was crisp with great dressing. My ravioli was delicious. My friend had a well prepared rib eye steak and mentioned it was the best one he ever had. We also shared a bottle of Chianti.

Overall, excellent food, great ambiance, solid service, and reasonable prices.  We'd be happy to return!

Looking for a spot nearby to grab an early dinner with some friends.  Headed to this spot.. apparently, it really is a favorite.  There is a bar area and then a restaurant area.  The bar area did indeed get busy.

I took the advice of the menu (saying it won awards) and Yelp and got the eggplant rollatini.  Let me just say.. I was less than impressed.  The bread served on the table is cold too.  The beef barley was okay and the pasta fagioli soup was meh.  This came with the meal.  My sister got the pasta with sausage.. sausage was tasty... but pasta seemed store bought.

Waitstaff was indeed friendly.  But still.. doesn't make up for the food (at least for me).

It's not expensive here... but there has got to be better options.

Craving italian while running some errands in the area and this was the closest spot. Decor and dishes really dated the place and service was nothing to write home about. Patrons were mostly older folks and seemed like a lot of regulars that owners knew. Unfortunately my chicken scallopini was underwhelming as well. :-/
