"Accept what life offers you and try to drink from every cup. All wines should be tasted; some should only be sipped, but with others, drink the whole bottle". -Paulo Coelho
This place is absolutely darling!
Tucked inside the ever-fabulous Glen, I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed myself.
We went on a Friday night and we were seated immediately. Our waiter, Sean (Shawn?), was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly.
My friend and I are not wine connoisseurs by any means, Â but we definitely appreciate and love a flavorful glass of wine. When we expressed our confusion about the menu but that we were both looking for a sweet wine, he knew exactly what to bring us.
Our wine flight included a Riesling, Moscato D'Asti, and a red wine that I believe was sweeter than the Moscato. I didn't quite care for the Riesling, but the second choice was by far my favorite (Paolo Saracco moscato d'asti).
We didn't have a chance to try the food, but I plan on doing so next time.
Bottom line: Ambiance is great (they even dimmed the lights after the Bulls game), staff is very friendly and attentive, and the wine is rich and flavorful. Perfect!
