This place is absolutely darling!

Tucked inside the ever-fabulous Glen, I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed myself.

We went on a Friday night and we were seated immediately. Our waiter, Sean (Shawn?), was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly.

My friend and I are not wine connoisseurs by any means,  but we definitely appreciate and love a flavorful glass of wine. When we expressed our confusion about the menu but that we were both looking for a sweet wine, he knew exactly what to bring us.

Our wine flight included a Riesling, Moscato D'Asti, and a red wine that I believe was sweeter than the Moscato. I didn't quite care for the Riesling, but the second choice was by far my favorite (Paolo Saracco moscato d'asti).

We didn't have a chance to try the food, but I plan on doing so next time.

Bottom line: Ambiance is great (they even dimmed the lights after the Bulls game), staff is very friendly and attentive, and the wine is rich and flavorful. Perfect!

Ordered the shrimp tempura which was excellent with a beer ( I know but just not a wine person) and had the scallops which were large but the side of arugala salad was not a good pairing. Staff service was excellent. Great first date spot.

Good place to grab a drink or a small, otherwise I would suggest eating elsewhere if you are looking for a good meal, even the salad was disappointing.
