We order from Viccino's every few weeks. Â Their pizza is good--but far too salty. Â I wish they could cut back. Â I do like that they offer a whole-wheat crust option though. Â Still, there's really no contest against the pizza "big boys". Â Viccino's sandwiches are reliably good, though since I discovered how good and better priced the sandwiches are at Gusto, I'll probably order much less frequently from Viccino's.
Everything is a bit on the pricey side (except for the individual slices of pizza), though the coupons they run in the mail sometimes help a bit. Â The staff is very friendly, and I appreciate that.
Overall pretty good pizza
I never quite like the employees though. Â They are the post-fratboy types, so you wonder about what they might be doing in the kitchen. Â They also have a no-nonsense attitude about them, such that if u behave in any way out of the small-talk dumbed-down norm, they will be shocked by it. Â Due to these intuitions, I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.
The other problem is their pizzas are RIDICULOUSLY expensive. Â Slices are priced fine, but the whole pizzas + toppings can add up real fast. Â Although their pizza is good, it's not THAT good for the price.
My experience has always been fine though. Â Great, large slices of pizza, and they have 2 TV's. Â They are willing to switch the channel to whatever u want.
I'd like to try the other location on Willow Rd. that's closer to the highway. Â From the outside it looks like a more down-to-earth family-style place.
