What a great experience! I was traveling and not feeling well, so when I saw that there was Afghan food nearby, I grabbed a cab for some comforting dinner.
I told the server that I didn't eat meat, so he recommended a delicious pasta. It came with soup, but he accidentally brought the wrong one, so he gave me an extra soup. I've had a fair amount of Afghan food in the past - and both the soup and pasta were very good. He also brought me some rice and a delicious pudding on the house!
The bill for the entire meal (soup, bread, pasta, rice, pudding, and tea) was $15! I gave a pretty big tip because it was honestly some of the best service I've ever received at a restaurant. The server even gave me a bunch of suggestions on different Chicago attractions to see while I was in town.
I'll definitely stop here every time I'm in Chicago.
Tasty. Â Friendly. Â Comfortable. Â I was in town for work and wanted to have a nice dinner. Â I stumbled upon Kabul House via Yelp and was not disappointed. Â The food was incredibly flavorful, with inventive ingredient combinations-- Â the presentation was aesthetically pleasing as well. Â The staff was also very helpful and was happy to answer questions and share recommendations. Â I encourage everyone to visit this restaurant.
