I have been coming here every Saturday and me and my girls always have a great time. The drinks are good and they finally have a cutie bartender...mmm. the dj plays good music so you will be dancing all night. Security is everywhere so I felt safe now fo the not so good. the music is good...but it's a bit too loud. My ears still ringing as I write this. Get ready to see the most ratchet girls in dallas. There aint no dress code so there are classy people mixed with ratchet which can confuse you. It's not the best but overall you should have a good time.
Review Source:i have literally been coming here since the beginning of time & remember when it used to be the library!!! beamers isn't for everyone....if you think you're too good to be @ beamers...then you probably are....so stay away lol!! with a pass...you get in free during happy hour (5-8) and access to $2 well drinks & an all you can eat buffet!! without a pass it's $5 and still access to $2 well drinks & all you can eat buffet!!! please tell me where in dallas or any where can you get all you can eat for $5 & it's not pizza!!?!?!?!? i'm not a big fan of eating there b/c you have to get there right when they open to get a table...otherwise you're holding a full plate & your drink trying to eat.....i'll pass!! $2 wells tho....i'm game lol
great music & it's thursday-saturday!! if you've never been....try all 3 nights to find what's right for you!! saturdays is really geared towards the kids....fyi!!!
Wow. Wow, wow, wow.
I visited Beamer's for a friend's birthday party. I honestly had no idea what to expect. The music BLASTS from the inside. You can almost feel the bass as you make your way across the huge parking lot. Ladies are free before 11, which we definitely took advantage of. If you have a birthday party, you can reserve tables for your group which is a nice feature, especially for wallflowers because no one wants to stand around in a nightclub lookin like a fool. Drinks were okay, about as much as you would pay anywhere else. Don't expect to have wiggle room on the dance floor here-it gets CROWDED!!
Most fun was people watching. Some peoples get cray-cray! Saw a girl on hands and knees shakin it on top of one of the booths. Saw another girl doing kicks. I'm almost positive Ursher's doppelganger was dancing next to our table. Outfits run the gamut here. I saw everything from suits to dressy jeans to someone in a tank and leggings. Age of the partiers is just as varied. Youngins and oldies tryna be goodies get the kicks in here.
We were here on a Saturday, and all of the music was hip-hop. Usually I'm a top 40 person and I can't get over how all hip-hop songs sound the same but I had a great time dancing. Caution, random guys will ogle you and try to get behind you. Just send them on their way!
Beamers isn't my go to but if ever invited again I wouldn't mind it. Also be prepared for temporary deafness upon leaving the club. The music is LOUDEST! ;-)
I met a group after work for the Happy Hour buffet on a Friday evening in late March. The buffet was excellent and the staff did a great job of keeping the tables cleaned. It was very crowded with a fun mix of people there to have fun. My only complaint was the music. It was terrible. Too much early 80's and nothing current until after 8pm. I understand that Beamers is catering to a certain age group ( I graduated from high school in 1987) but I think there should have been more music from the mid to late 90's. My friends had a hard time getting me on the dance floor because I was so disappointed with the awful music.
Review Source:I had my birthday party here back in August and I loved it.. Granted that we were there for happy hour and a few hours after it was great. We got a tabel and people in for free. I got a free bottle and everything was great. Me and my bestfriend don't remember too much because we kept getting free drinks but from what we rememeber we had fun. The only thing I can say that was bad since we went on a Friday after 10pm thats when all the younger people come in and the mood changes. Keep in mind I am in my mid 20's but I do not like hood places. This place is far from hood
Review Source:I went for the buffet on Thursday....it says 50 feet more like 25 feet. The food was D but I got in for free. I didn't order a well drink ($2-3) a regular drink is about $8 each. There are a lot of grown people in there swing dancing and just having a good time. I will go back just to mingle! :) (age range 30-50) Way better than the ghetto yound folk crowd. Get there early or you will have to stand to eat. I got there about 7 and stood up.
Review Source:It's just ok; i'm not a fan of the layout.
The real draw is the Happy Hour buffet, but you must come early or expect to stand as you eat; btw the drinks are weak.
Valet is the only way to go, pay the $10..cash only.
On my last visit, we did the skip line which I believe was $20/pp.
Another review called this place classy; I suspect that person hasn't been to many places.
My biggest gripe is that I don't understand how this is one of Dallas' hot spots; I recommend you come here for Happy Hour, chill for about 1-2hrs, and then on to another club!!!
I still remember when this place was called The Library...ah, great times playin pool and talkin' a lot of junk as my bestfriend beat me in every game! lol
Beamers is always a good time, but it is almost like there is two Beamers. There is the Beamers before 10 p.m. and the Beamers after 10. Before 10 p.m. is the business professionals who come after work for the buffet and band, but it seems like those individuals transition out between 9 and 10 and a new younger not so classy crowd begins to flow in after 10...just an observation.
It's a huge, classy club with large dance floor, great live band venue, tables you can reserve, and a bar that is usually easy to get a drink from.
I usually go after work for the $5 50-foot buffet...very good food! There are $3 well drinks. They have a live band mixed in with a DJ. It's a great time to unwind after work with a fun crowd. The free parking lot fills up after 6, but I believe ladies always valet for free!
When I said I wanted to do my first happy hour in DFW, this is the FIRST place that shot out of everyone's mouths. Â THANK...YOU!!! Â I've been to the Friday happy hour twice, and I have yet to be disappointed in any way. Â Now, I have to caution folks in the 30s-50s age range that Thursday and Friday cater to our group--Saturday, not so much (and that's OK). :-)
Let's start with the buffet. Â It's HUGE! Â The food is delicious (including a salad selection), and they do a great job keeping it stocked as patrons go through the line. Â Secondly, there are $2 (select) drinks for happy hour. Â 'Nuff said.
Best of all, the dance experience is awesome here! Â The DJs do a great job and they utilize a technology to sync videos with the music mixes. Â Even if you're a wallflower, your eyes are occupied throughout the night. Â The dance floor, by the way, is nice and roomy. Â There's a great mix of R&B, Rap, Funk, and Neo Soul all nicely blended for a great dancing experience. Â
What I truly appreciate, though, is the professionalism of club security. Â Beamers doesn't allow patrons on the dance floor with drinks, and the guys are very courteous in reminding folks of that. Â That's really cool.
On the second level is a smaller room with a separate DJ. Â The area is very well lit with a very nice decor. Â It's readily apparent that the owners understand that you have to spend money to make money. Â In fact, it looks like Beamers is an old movie theater; and the owners have done a fantastic job transforming the place into a quality club.
Mostly, I enjoy the clientele. Â It's one of the rare places I've been where people are simply having a great time, regardless of who you are, your age or where you come from.
Finally, I'm impressed by the "little things" Beamers does well. Â The parking lot has kind of a goofy layout but they do a nice job with their valet service. Â It's not a cash-only venue, so you can use a credit card to get in. Â There's also a computerized system, I think, to enter a drawing for your birthday celebration.
I love the energy, mood, food, and decor; so I'm a fan!
My Bestie took me here for Happy Hour while I was on a trip to Dallas visiting him. All I can say I have not had this much fun since I was in college. Talk about a 'Grown & Sexy' crowd. Every person that stepped into the place was dressed to the nines. (they enforce the dress code) Which I really like. From the interior design to the food to the drinks. Yet the best part of the whole thing, I mean the BEST was the music!!!! They didn't place this cramp that's on the radio. They played real music!!! the stuff you can actually dance to. Let me tell you, the grown folks were dancing like they  know what they are doing on the dance floor.  I had an amazing time, it was so good that I have actually thought about making another trip out to Dallas just so I can shake my tail feather at Club Beamers.  There is nothing like this club anywhere in Miami. It is a shame that I had to travel over 700 miles just to have the best Club experience I've had in years.  I will be back. Thanks Beamers!!! you made my trip extra fun.
Review Source:it's hard for me to rate Beamers as it stands today. it has gone down hill since my last visit. I would give 5 stars on the happy hour concept they have. they have a full buffet with GOOD food from 5-8. the DJ is really good, the bathrooms are usually clean. however, the customer service SUCKS here. last Thursday, I won an online raffle that promised free entry, a booth for 8 and a bottle of champagne. i get there and the people at the door didn't greet us. strike one. then, i ask how i am supposed to claim my free booth and champagne. the guy was rude and took us to a table that only had 4 chairs. no booth. i had invited 8 people since the email said i won a booth for 8. he showed us the table and walked off. leaving me with no idea how to claim my champagne. finally, i asked a waitress how to claim it and she finally brought the bottle to the table. i guess i can't complain about the quality of the champagne since it was free, but it was DEFINITELY bottom shelf. on a good note, the buffet and music were great. my party had fun. it gets too crowded after 8. beamers has a lot to offer since it really is a nice club, but they need to sharpen their customer service skills and tell the truth in their emails to raffle winners regarding table space
Review Source:I'm  a Lil older so this review may differ from the younger cats out there...! That being said, I really like Beamers, I love that if you can make it between the hrs of 5pm and 8pm there is free buffet of REALLY GOOD FOOD!! and the drinks are $2.00!. Now that's only on Friday nights but if you can get there before the younger crowd makes it and your able to find seating then your in there like swim wear son!! The DJ is nice with his! A mixture of recent hits as well as something for the 80's baby's in there. I love the upstairs setup the best! It has all white furniture with a additional bar and DJ setup. I've been there on many occasions and have always enjoyed myself with my peps! Can't wait to go back home to visit!
Review Source:I liked the venue the most! The TV in sync with the DJ who was rocking this Saturday night. I happened upon this place because of yelp and I am glad I did. I would choose an older crowd from what I heard Thursday and Friday next time but I was not uncomfortable on this younger crowd night.
The downside is the drinks are small (the plus is they are kind of cheap) the bartenders don't earn a tip at least the young lady who waited on me- Don't want to be hammered but a buzz is necessary and you will be hard pressed to get one here unless you buy 3 or 4 drinks and that adds up (buy a beer instead).
Saturday $20 to get in..
I really like Beamers, one of the reasons being the amazingly LARGE area for free parking! THAT is what I'm talking about!! Ladies free before 11 PM on Saturday? Good, but I expect that.
This is a pretty large club. There are many tables you can reserve (for a price), and they provide balloons, champagne, and a big booth and tables.
The music is ALWAYS good. I'm never disappointed with the DJ.
If you're a smoker, I would try to get in as much smoke in your lungs BEFORE you go into the club, because the smoking area is PACKED outside.
I really like Beamers and go there as my first choice. There is a nice mix of ages and I think you have to be 23+ to get in if you're a man.
Great on Thursday's after work, between 5-8. Â You can't beat the $2 drinks and all you can eat buffet, for only a $5 entry fee. Â I went on a Saturday night and was miserable, but then again, I am not a clubber and will give all clubs a low rating because it is simply not my thing. Â Overall, great on Thursday (4stars)! I give it 1 star for a Saturday night.
Review Source:All I heard was get there before 8pm for the buffet and $2 drink specials. This parking lot was already packed but ladies had free valet, the food was good, the DJ was already spinnin' a good mix of hip-hop and the dance floor already had a crowd.
Definitely a hot mix of people. Nice work Beamers.
Beamers is my favorite out of all the nightclubs I ever been to. I started going faithfully when I lived in TX and have even spent money to fly out to Dallas to visit Beamers after I moved out of TX. It seems as if Fridays are the days to go now for the nightclub night. I went that following saturday and it was empty with the exception of a few parties. It use to be live on Friday and Saturday but I was told alot of people go to to other spots downtown. If you wanna see the flyest chicks in Dallas on their sexy game than this is still the place to be. However they are getting a little to relaxed on the dress code as time goes on and need to up their standards like they were back in the day. They need to stop letting in brothas who come dress like BUMS! Just cause you have on dress shoes or "POLO" boots does not mean you are "Casual". Start enforcing better standards with men's attire besides being worried about their foot wear. They must be getting greedy. I agree with a poster in the filtered reviews on the fact that it is a classy, big spender like me who will get turned around at the door quicker than one of them Oak Cliff or PG Bum negros. I still like seeing the ladies in there but alot if them Dallas dudes have no swag or style and should be turned around at the door.
Review Source:Two Words: Â Awesome Buffet!!!! Â I love my happy hours and have been to a lot of different ones in the big D. Â This one? Â The food was on point!! Â MMMM!! Â BBQ?! Â Best 5 dollars I have spent in awhile. Â I am a white girl but don't forget I am from the south. Â BBQ? Mac and Cheese? Watermelon? Â Yes please!
Review Source:OK OK I know what your all saying! What's a 22 year old petite Asian girl doing at BEAMERS on a Thursday night? Well I'll tell you that I was the only one there matching the above description but I'll also tell you that I had a BLAST. I came here for the happy hour session with some folks from work and felt way out of place at first. I was in a business suit and watching some foxy ladies entering the building in club wear and heels. The crowd was a little older 30+, the music was amazing, DJ Freeze is hilarious and the 40+ feet buffet was pretty damn good for the $5 entry fee.
The venue is pretty big, decorated elegantly, had plenty of bars dispersed so you aren't waiting too long to get your drinks and they also had an awesome happy hour session. I'm talking $2 drinks people! My bartender (who was a cutie!) noticed I was drinking x-rated and sprite and threw in some hennessey to give me an extra kick. After about 5 of these babies I was on the dance floor shaking my thang and screwing up every line dance number possible.
My only complaints are that the men here are brave; usually when I'm somewhere and give my "I'm already annoyed just by looking at you so don't you dare approach me" look I rarely get bothered but men were blocking my way to the bar, trying to squeeze in between my friends to dance with me and I can't tell you how many times my butt was grabbed. Regardless, I had a great time and am so glad I gave this place a try. I'll be learning all of these line dances on you tube until next time BEAMERS!
This place is hood at its finest and if you think its class then you probably think Sizzler is a 5 star restaraunt. Â Its wall to wall hood rats and weaves and they definately dont know how to treat you when you come to the door or get a VIP table.
Went here with some friend 1st time and they told me and my boys we couldnt get in because of one of my boys shoes (not tennis shoes) and because I had a Kangol on and not a baseball hat. Â We had just left Ghostbar at the W the night before my boy had the same shoes on I had the same style kangol on a different color. Â Here is the killer I look inside the club they have guys walking around in baseball hats and big T Shirts. Â Guess I should of had my church shoes on and my Steve Harvey Collection Suite.
Second trip to Beamers my buddy begged me to go and I gave in. Â It was All Star weekend and we told them we wanted a VIP table when we got to the door. Â Attention Beamers staff when someone says they want a tabble and two bottles to start you dont tell them wait in a G.A. line and charge them to get in. Â After we educated them on this they let us past the line took us upstairs and told us we had to buy two bottles of champaine for 300 a bottle, some cheap Moet. Â I had to grab one of the servers and tell him I wanted two bottles of Goose and when the hostes that let us in found out she was furious oh well. Â The wrest of the night we spent admiring the fall dress collection from Big T bizzare which many of the women were wearing and I have to say Texas girls wear it well.
So staff at Beamers maybe you should go to Vegas try Vanity at the Hard Rock or XS inside Encore these places really know how to treat people who are spending money. Â Oh and just so it doesnt seam like I am bashing Dallas Ghostbar, Purgatory, The Bank, Sky Bar, and IQ know how to treat people and put it down in the BIG D.
I went here and had a freaking ball!!!!  The place is upscale, Vegas style, like many other clubs in the DFW. They have a kitchen that serves pretty good grub and drinks are about average as with most places. Not too pricey, but not cheap. The bartenders are friendly  and pour good.
The venue is huge!!! Â Plenty of room to get cozy or if you feel crazy you can jump around. Â Perfect for groups and private parties. Â They even have a private room to host your party.
The DJ plays all the new club bangers that make you shake your ass off. Another thing I really liked: EVERYONE DANCES! Â The girls here dance too. Â They don't act all prude. Â When I go out to clubs, I like to dance. Â At most places, girls think you're trying to pick them up, when that is not nesscesarily the case. Â
I tell folks about Beamers and they get think it's ghetto cause it's a black club (even coming from my black friends). Â I guess there is a stigma and people assume people are gonna get shot or something. Â They obviously need to let go and open up a bit. This place is classy and very nice. Â I had no issues, everyone was nice. Â Dress code is obviously enforced. Â
Beamers is open till 4am!!
Check it out!
The only thing I DISLIKED: $20 cover for guys. Â :(
I really really really like Beamers! I am getting to the point where I'm not feeling to go to the club too much. I'm 29 and I've been going to clubs since I was 18 so it's beyond played. HOWEVER; I REALLY had a good time at Beamers. Ladies are free all night after 8 on Fridays. (There's a $5 happy hour from 5-8 but I'm still at work). The first time I went was the Friday after Thanksgiving. I just KNEW they were gonna be charging $20 to get in since it was a holiday but it was still free. We didn't get there until about 11 and it was PACKED. I don't like being in such a crowded environment with drunk people but I have to say it was all peace. No fights or drama at all. The second time I went was New Year's Day. (Guess I have a holiday theme going) and we got there about 12. It wasn't too crowded and we managed to get a table so I was able to sit back and chill and get up and dance when I felt like it. I'm pretty new to Dallas and I don't go out much so if you're into a slightly older crowd, and tired of the parking issues and drama downtown, check out Beamers.
Review Source:I would first like to say that as I get older I don't really like going to clubs. I'm more of a bar type girl, you give me a good drink, good music, and good people and I am set. That is why I am giving HAPPY HOUR at Club Beamer's on THURSDAYS 5 stars!!!!!!!!!!! Wahoo!!!!!!!
You have $2 drink specials AND a free buffet with the best shrimp I have ever had! All for an entry fee of $5. The crowd is older and I love that, that means not as much ruckus....I was sold.........and I loved the old school hip hop and R&B that I rocked to all night. I will definitely be going back again....and again...and again.
However.....going on a Saturday night bumped my experience to a 3. Let me fill you in.
The crowd totally changes. I'm 26 and I really don't like being around 21 year old rowdies all night.........unless I'm d-runk. Then the people watching becomes a sport. The drinks are overpriced, but they do the trick in getting me to a point where I could tolerate what I was around. It becomes EXTREMELY crowded and I really don't like that type of venue. It's too big to be that crowded, which means that you are being greedy as an owner and letting way too many people in. When your venue is that big, there should be no reason I should feel another person's sweat on my arm. That is not a cute look for me, and it shouldn't be for you either. I did dance.......just not on the dance floor. So I was confined to a small area close to the bar, because there was no way I was leaving my comfort zone( I'm a lush, sue me) to be chumming it up with 6"5 sweaty guy, who is 22 and thinks it's cute when you dance so hard that you look like your about to pass out. Nope. Not me. BUT....if my girls want to go for a bit, to dance and be rowdy, I will. I just think that getting older allows me to see that I will not be in the club too much longer............
ps-there is free valet for "unescorted women"......that's always a plus.
