You know what's messed up? Â I STILL supported this place because its a neighborhood restaurant regardless they take too long. Â And now I'm reading the restaurant disrespecting me on my own HONEST review? Â I tell you what....I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE AGAIN. Â And I'll make sure no one on my block goes either. If I want to wait 45 minutes, I'll go to a real Italian restaurant in the area and trust me there are many more, all better. Â Note to management, be mindful to how you respond to reviews.
Review Source:I love a good rack of ribs. Â Normally, I get my ribs from Smok N Q in Evergreen (or Hog Wild in Midlothian). Â But they are closed on Monday so I thought I'd try Bellas, as I had seen it on the train many times. Â I was encouraged by the menu and, upon arrival, thought the place looked really nice. Â Clearly the guys running the place are trying hard. Â But . . . the ribs were terrible. Â A good smoked rib has that nice pink ring around the middle. Â Succulent meat that falls off the bone, etc. Â These were nowhere near anything I would call "good." Â They were dark gray - no pink ring. Â Cooked to within an inch of their lives. Â And the fries were certainly microwaved. Â Gross. Â I really wish I would have loved this place, since I try hard to support Beverly businesses. Â But this place really missed the mark.
Review Source:Let's just say that good food doesn't make up for poor managment. Â I was promised a gift certificate in the mail and never received it. Â I'm not impressed with their un-kept promises.
Maybe it's just me, but even if a restaurant has the BEST food around, but the restaurant can't keep it's promises to it's patrons - how can you be trusted?
We're in Chicago - come on'... there's pizza EVERYWHERE. Â A good way to stand out is to go the extra step to keep your patrons happy; customer service and satisfaction goes a LONG way.
Should've kept your promises.
