Big Daddy's Brew & 'Que

The food was pretty good. I went with the pulled pork plate and ended up with leftovers. I felt the portions were bigger than at Smoke Shack but not quite as tasty.  Good option for the Bayshore area. Next time for lunch I'll get a sandwich.

Not, memorable or recommendable

Our party of four dined here on a Thursday evening.  We started with rib tips as an app.  Basically, a bowl of bones.  I'm not sure where the meat was, but it wasn't a good start to our meal.  

Two of us ordered ribs and two ordered the burger.  The burgers were fine.  I would not go out of my way order them again, especially now that I heard two new restaurants are coming to Bay Shore.  

The ribs were just okay, not worth the price especially when I can think of a half of dozen other great ribs spots I truly love.

If I am going to go to a chain for BBQ, I think I will head to Brookfield for some Famous Dave's.

Service was fine.  Atmosphere was nice enough, but it was dead when we were there.  Always makes you feel leery of what you are getting into.  Not sure if Big Daddy is going to have a heart attack and die.

I returned to Big Daddy's on Saturday. The visit was awesome. I had brisket & hot links with mac & cheese and corn on the cob. My wife had beef tenderloin with corn on the cob and sweet potato fries. Both were outstanding and plentiful. Our waitress was very good and service was great. We had the pleasure of meeting Terry, the GM who was very nice to us. We will be returning often. It is great to have a BBQ place on the Northside.
