Three Lions Pub

Finally made it to Three Lions Pub last night.  I've been dying to check this place out and it definitely met my expectations!  
Food:  We tried the wings and got the BBQ  and the Three Lions sauce.  The wings are fried, grilled, and sauced.  What's nice is that you can mix it up and try out all of the flavors in groups of 4 wings, so you aren't limited to just one like most other bars/restaurants.  AWESOME sweet potato waffle fries and a quality blue cheese sauce.  

Drinks:  I like ciders and Three Lions had a larger selection of different ciders that I have never tried or heard of.  For example, I had no idea that Stella Artois makes a cider.  Sadly, no Strongbow though!!

My only issue was that our server stopped working our table and ended his shift counting his tips and receipts at a larger table.  I honestly couldn't stop staring at him in shock and awe.  It was about 10pm, the bar was packed, and this server is  counting away and making piles of his singles!  That was a first for me...  

I definitely will come back for trivia night on Wednesdays.

The site of my first dinner as a Wisconsinite, so I'm sentimental. Very good fish & chips and burgers and a reasonable beer selection. Service is in the sweet spot of relaxed but attentive.

A nice "English Pub" in the heart of Shorewood's revitalized and booming North Oakland neighborhood. Good selection of imports on tap, as well as in can/bottle. The menu was somewhat nicer than "bar food", and the food was quite good all around. Service was efficient and friendly. Definitely a destination for the locals, and worth a try for anyone visiting the area.
