Gotta love that Elvis sign. So many good times here so many good friends here. This place is not a bar this place is more of a friends hang out. Inexpensive shots so you can't go wrong. So stop by and support your local businesses.
Elvis has definitely not left the building....He's holed up in a small corner bar a few blocks from the Oregon Ave station in South Philly.
This bar is a Philadelphia landmark
Local bar in Packer Park area. Elvis ( if you can't tell by the name of the bar) is big here, with murals of him, along with other 50's and 60's entertainers on the wall. My boyfriend and his brother go here a lot and apparently there is a female bartender who is a dead ringer of John Locke from Lost.
Review Source:This is my new favorite South Philly bar because it gave us entertainment and cheap drinks, with a lot of character. Â
The bar was stocked better than many "dives"... and Jameson shots for $4 is a steal. It was bright and clean, and triangle shaped (it's on a corner). Â The jukebox is stuffed with good music, plenty of Elvis and classic rock. Â They have a regulation shuffleboard table, which guaranteed that we will be back. Â And the decor is Elvis themed.
Elvis has definitely not left the building....He's holed up in a small corner bar a few blocks from the Oregon Ave station in South Philly. Â I was there last night because I heard from some friends that they were having Rock Band/ Guitar hero on Thursdays...nice mix of a few regulars(Me) and people who stumbled in to hear what was going on.....sick time, not to mention this hot bartender named Renee, who will spoil other bartenders for you as she pours the next one as you're finishing the one you're drinking...(Ok Princess you owe me one for that) seriously great service. Â Take the train down....it's worth it..
