Just like everyone else I was thoroughly disappointed with this place. Wings were not restaurant level. Soggy and zero life. It's a shame when you can't live up to the name of your business. I'd rather chase a chicken and cut it myself than pay this place again.
Edwardsville restaurant level has gone down tremendously over the last year.
Remington, the owner greeted us while we waited to be seated for 5 minutes. Â No big issue. Â Like other comments on here, the decor is subpar, but doesn't necessarily determine the quality of food.
I ordered the lunch special 1/2lb boneless wings and my wife a chicken wrap. Â We swapped her french fries and opted for the pickle chips. Â If you are looking for a quick lunch, don't go here. After placing our order with the owner (only waiter there) it took 15+ minutes to get a portion of our order. He asked me again what I ordered and brought it out 2 minutes later (on the fly). Pickle chips that Remington the owner recommended were so salty and greasy. The boneless chicken was small, but good. Not better than BWW. Fries were standard nothing special. Â I see the Boulevard Wing Street and it's neighbor Coyote Bar and Grill closing soon.
We ate at Boulevard Wing Street on a Sunday afternoon. The iced tea tasted instant and they only had the "pink" sweetener, but the server was very helpful and pleasant. As we waited quite awhile for our food (there was only one cook and two servers) we had time to look around a bit. I feel as though the place could be spruced up, especially the restrooms, but it wasn't horrible. The cartons of beer were sitting on the floor behind the bar...the paint was chipped, smeared and splattered...just aesthetics. We ordered the queso dip which was the worst part of the meal. It was a bright orange bowl of melted cheese-ish dip. I ordered the naked chicken buffalo sandwich and it was tasty. My lunch partner ordered the smothered chicken sandwich, which was also "okay". Â The fries were pretty good. Overall I probably wouldn't go there again if I had other choices but it wasn't the worst place I've eaten. Lunch was $25.00 for two with no alcohol.
