Brewers' Tasting Room

Favorite bar in Tampa Bay. Had the opportunity to sit and talk with co-owner, Steve, last night.  He's very involved with his patrons and seems to really care about the place.  It's refreshing. They're supporting local business, there's great Cajun food, there's tons of beer on draft, and a pretty extensive bottle selection, as well.  My girl doesn't drink much beer, but they have a tasty cider collection, as well.  

I have seen music there a few times, and each time it gets better and better.  Banjos + mandolins = actual music!  Led Zeppelin was playing when the band was taking a break.  

If you are affiliated with BTR and happen to read this, kudos to you guys!  You're doing it right, and I wish you the best.  I am so damn glad that you exist!

Love that this is in my neighborhood. We joined in the fun on a Trivia Night (Tuesdays.) The beers are plentiful. The listing appears on a smallish TV screen. Our waitress was sort of happy to make suggestions. The beers we tried (Cigar City IPA and Florida Lager) were satisfying. We had the pretzels (3 mustard options) and the Fried Mac and Cheese Bites (spicy and oh so tasty.). All of the Starters are reasonably priced. We also sampled the Creole Jambalaya (my favorite) and the Chicken and Andouille Sausage Gumbo (spicy goodness.) We were bummed they had no dessert, but lucky that it was a patron's birthday and were gifted some cupcakes. The water is serve-yourself from a tap, which was cool with me. Glad to have an option with local brews, tasty eats, and trivia in North St. Pete.

Fantastic place! Large beer selection and great tasting cajun food. They are starting to brew their own beer this weekend (25 May 13). We will def become regulars and take all of our friends here.
