Brix Sunset Beach

So there's a sign that reads "BEST PASTRAMI IN THE WORLD" on the side of the road, right in front of this place. That's a huge statement to make and to live up to. Un-doubtfully, Brix does live up to this statement.

I came here for lunch with a friend today. He swears that this is the best pastrami sandwich he's ever had, and he hates pastrami sandwiches. I don't usually eat pastrami sandwiches either, just because it's usually pretty dry. We ordered the Fuhgeddaboudit and a grilled cheese sandwich to share. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite of my pastrami sandwich. The flavor and tenderness of the meat was spot on. I was too full to finish my grilled cheese. It was just ok, IMO. They added small slices on tomato in the grilled cheese. I thought that was a little odd.

I will definitely come back for the pastrami. I think I want to try their corned beef next time. =)

Visited two separate times while visiting Sunset Beach.  Great craft beer selection poured by knowledgeable and friendly bar staff. Apps and entrees were well-prepared and delicious. Happy hour and nightly specials help cut costs of pricy drafts on tap. Fish and sausages with garlic fries and side sauces were tasty. Appetizers were all very good.

Had a really nice time here this past Saturday- thought the food and craft beer selection was great and prices were reasonable enough. Can't wait to go to their happy hour! Service was good and helpful too. Only complaint was it felt a little musty inside and was a little cramped... oh well!
