Pros: Cold beer! Edible pub fare.
Cons: amateur drinkers
This is a local dive bar as far as I'm concerned. Two bars, one inside one outside with a nice canopy. Lots of TV's and taps but the atmosphere is definitely what I like to call "blue-collar thirsty". Watch out for the Friday and Saturday night amateur drunk comedy show, you"ll be sure to see: Â "the bob and weave", "the drunk girl two-step" and my favorite, the slurred speech "hey man, what are you looking at?!" Â Keep your camera handy, great people watching.
Went there on a Sunday afternoon. Service was ok- not very attentive and we were at the bar. Â I wanted wings- we got "medium extra crispy". Â I was disappointed. Â The wings were meaty but had no flavor and no spice. Typical sports bar but would go somewhere else. If I went back I would try the wings- extra crispy and HOT. Definitely would try somewhere else first.

Food: 4 stars (Best chicken wings EVER.)
Service: 3 stars
I found this place on Yelp one night when I was really hungry and everything else in Pompano Beach was not open. The bar was somewhat packed when I arrived after 10pm, but at least it was still open. The servers were not very attentive, it seemed like they were multitasking way too much to see who just arrived, and we had to ask for menus.
I ordered a beer and their famous wings. I have to say, the wings were the best wings I have ever had. So glad I got them. Aside from the service, the other customers were really loud (inebriated) and somewhat obnoxious. It got better when some of them left. There are a lot of TVs that show various sports, so that was cool.
The place is not the cleanest. In fact, I found ants at my table, probably because I was outdoors. /= Wings are good, and it is a place you go grab some drinks with your friends at night.
Damian was absolutely hands down the most inattentive server I've ever had in my entire life... and I'm easy to please, so that previous statement speaks volumes. He took our drink and appetizer order (2 unsweet ice teas, buffalo chips)... then "poof" he disappeared. He brought back sweet tea. I had to track him down 10min later to place my order, and correct the drinks (angus burger, and 10 wings). The burger was cooked perfectly, however at the end of the meal, we realized that he had brought us 16 wings. We told him about the error, he did not adjust the bill. I've been to Bru's Room many times... This was most definitely the last time you'll catch me here.
Review Source:I usually only come here when I'm with friends, I would recommend the wings
With about 4 people we devour the 100 wings basket. Their super spicy is not really super spicy... Its either that or I'm just a very spicy eater. I've tried their steak at least over 4 times and every time its bad. So unless your coming here to watch a game and just chill with your friends your better off getting just wings and a beer.
Bru's rooms have one of the best wings in town. I always order them when I go there. They are delicious grilled and not fatty or with 5lbs of batter on them. This Bru's room is particular is a Gator Fan Zone by far, they have a great raffle which me and my sister almost always win by buy just 10 tickets sometimes 5 and they play all the traditional Swamp songs. It's two stories which makes it unique from other Bru's room because it is set up as a house/loft. There's plenty Tv's and the service staff are pleasant and always around.
Review Source:Bru's Room's are great for their Baked wings! Super good but as far as this Bru's Room goes this location is the Dive of them. Â
You can play Darts here and enjoy a buck of beer with friends.  Its a laid back place and the waitresses are scrambling around to try to serve you best they can.
The outdoor patio is great too, but my friends spent most of the time playing games inside.
There's plenty of Flat Screen TV's here which makes watching games easy.
If you're in the area its more the atmosphere you'll get from this place than decor or Food.
This place is your typical sports bar inside, but the new outdoor deck is quite nice and provides for an awesome afternoon/evening with friends. They were voted best wings in Broward County and I can attest to this fact. The blue cheese dressing is great but make sure to ask for an extra because one is not enough for 10 wings. They only give you about two sticks of celery and carrot so if you have your heart set on that make sure you ask for more. The service here is average but it isn't terrible. I find this place quite charming actually, a little bit better than your average sports bar. The menu is quite extensive so if you aren't into wings, there is something for everyone.
Review Source:Used to be a great alternative to Flanigans, when the Snowbirds take over...now something has gone downhill big time and the menu keeps changing, the food gets worse, the staff attitude is bad and the management is broken down...people wake up there are good places to get drink discounts, cheap beer & TV...thank goodness it's summer...back to Flanigans for my Ribs and Burgers...buh-Bye 4eva Bru!
Review Source:My wife and I really enjoy Bru's room. We get a couple drinks, a small appetizer and an entree each and the bill is always super cheap. There are a ton of beer and food specials all the time. Â Great value for the money! The quality of the food has consistently improved over the years and we have never had a bad meal!
Review Source:What can I say other than it's a sports bar with typical sports bar food having a typical sports bar flavoring about it that only goes good with beer. Although their ribs are fairly decent, all of the rest of the food is, well, sports bar food. To describe it in one word, "yuck."
I've never been able to figure out why all sports bar food seemingly tastes the same, is by nature rather unhealthy and doesn't go good with anything except typical American dish watery tasting beer and a group of nonathletic, obese appearing patrons who insist upon screaming top lung at a television telling the players which play to make next and how to play it. Â However, and though many may disagree, that's the way I see it.
The set up Bru's is rather nice, being a huge outdoor patio though with rather inattentive service, and huge, rather neat appearing indoor bar and another more subdued dinning area for those that may want a little piece and quiet.
As with any sports bar, there are plenty of flat screens offering a good view from most any seating angle.
Although a definitely not me type of place to be, it gathers a large loyal crowd which is a testament to its popularity as a sports bar; hence I can't really knock it, at least not too much so there in actuality I am rather inclined.
Cannot believe someone in the service industry would act the way our server did. Â I kindly asked the server if we could sit at a hightop that was not yet cleaned, she said yes. Â We sat down and the server was clearing off the table spilled an entire full drink all over my lap. Â This did not bother me too much but the server did not apologize and said "thats what you get for sitting at a table that hasn't been cleared off yet." When we were ready to order our food she said "Are you ordering something"? In a mean tone. Â She never refilled our drinks and our entire meal was cold. Â My friend I was eating with owns a group of fast food restaurants and said this server would have been fired in one of my restaurants. Â The female manager was not concerned when told the situation. The server's name is Nicole P. I will never go back if this server is still working here.
Review Source:We were treated very disrespectfully today, by both our server and the "manager." I didn't catch his name but he was very overweight and wore a goatee. The server's name is Ana.
The restaurant had a problem with their credit card machine, but even when they discovered that, rather than apologize, the "manager" still accused three different people in our group of not having enough money on their credit/debit cards. Rather than tell the first person in a non-accusatory way, the server shouted out over our table of ten "[said the person's name] owes me $18, your credit card was declined." The solution finally offered by the manager? One of our party needed to go to the ATM ($3 surcharge) and draw out cash to pay the balance.
Bottom Line: The food is decent but I will never be back. Human beings deserve respect.
Great wings and really tasty lettuce wraps. Â And excellent service! Â I went there for a gator game watch last weekend and I will definitely be going back for more game watches. Â My server was awesome and made the whole experience really great. Â The only kind of bad thing was the brownie in the brownie sundae was a little dry and it tasted a bit plain. Â It's also a little hard to hear the PA system if you are not in the main room. Â I still really liked this place and it's a great place to watch the gators!
Review Source:I used to come here a lot to see Gator football. Â The last time I was here was in March to watch the Florida-BYU basketball game. Â Even though this is supposedly Gator Central, it took them 20 minutes to put the game on outside, 10 minutes to put the game sound on inside, plus we missed 5 minutes of the game because they accidentally turned the channel to PBS.
Also, the beer selection is crap (typical for South Florida: most places only have shit beer like Bud and Miller). Â Food is average at best.
Won't be coming here again.
Not much to say about this one ... below average food, average service.  Outdoor seating is nice for smokers, tvs make it a decent place for sports watching and beer chugging, but overall (and this is just my opinion) this is not my kind of crowd. Check out the Flanigans just East of US1 on Atlantic or head 5 minutes south on US1 to Smokey Bones  ... mmmmmuch better!
Review Source:I was here in November 2008 and liked it... was there with my friend, who is also from upstate ny but lives here now. The wings and sports motiv' aka experience is quite good. I was there again last night on this visit to florida. I dont get the whole volumne thing. Its sooooo loud there. Four of us sat outside at a highround and could not communicate.. either when the "band" was playing and also when they were on break. I understand inside is a bit more audible.
I had the pecan encrusted salad.. was pretty good but chix seemed burnt.. they said that is how it is always served. My friend had garlic wings and loooved them and my pal had pepperoni pizza.. it looked amazing. I would go again because it is easy and very close to where we stay in parkland. Prices are decent and beer selection is very good. They have also have a very very outside deck which can prove a nice escape while still being there. I teeter between 2 and 3 stars.
Meeting place of the Gator Club of Broward County to watch all of the football games. It can get really crowded and a little rowdy during big games. They really need to upgrade their TVs. Chicken wings are pretty good and the whole fried pickles with spicy dipping sauce was an interesting change of pace. Outside bar seems to be a popular happy hour place for locals.
Review Source:If you like wings, this place is arguably the best place to get them in South Florida. Â If you are a Florida football fan, then this is the place to be for all non-televised football games. Great wings and bar food along with a great bar and friendly staff. Â The wings win awards on a regular basis. Â Many choices to choose from also.
