We stopped in for the 3rd time Friday evening before venturing to the Everclear show at the Palladium.
A-Food
A-Beer selction
B-Pricing
C-Service
D-Parking, can be tricky at crowded times
While the food was awesome, the beer prices and the service was not.
Velvet hammer is a fine beer but 8 bucks isn't a fine price. I don't mind the extra price of a beer like this at a nice restaurant or bar, but BST just doesn't fit the bill for that.
On to the food, we started with some fried mozzarella. Came out quick and piping hot! Very good and appeared to be homemade.
I ordered a small Hawaiian pizza while my wife took to the fish n chips. Pizza came out quickly and was solid, however the fish n chips were forgotten about.
Ok no biggie, Â since we kinda had 3 different servers we informed each of them as they came by and asked how everything was.
15 minutes later we flagged down one of them....once again to let them know we were still waiting...tick tock
Another 10 minutes goes by and they finally come.
Fantastic portion amount, enough fries with it to put you in a coma. Great food, but Due to the  lackadaisical nature of all the servers and the pricing I really just dont have any desire to return anytime soon. There's way too many other bars with good grub around that kick arse
Libertine, Strangeways, Lee Harveys, Anvil Pub
Adios BST, maybe I'll see ya again someday
Weird little place. Â
Full of yuppies, TPT, in-betweens... all converging in one place. Â I've seen women dancing together falling on patrons. Â I've seen empty Pepto Bismol bottles on the pre-busted table I was about to sit at (the pizza I had did not give me that type of trouble), and I've seen a few bands play here.
Beer on tap, good people watching, excellent whisky, pool tables, and great food.
The makins of a good evening!
