Double Wide

Velvet paintings and shag carpet come to mind.  I've been driven home many times from the Double Wide.  I've seen some good bands there and hung out with great friends.  One of my all time favorite bars in Dallas.

Great, unique concept! From the mobile home decor, tornado on the roof, toilet seating, and sleeveless cut-off shirt dress-code - it's definitely not boring! We took the advice of our Yelp friends and tried the Yoohoo Yeehaw drink - it did not disappoint.

The night we were in town, they had a huge blow up pool and slide. Unfortunately, we weren't equipped with bathing suits. They had a small cover charge of $5, which was due to the band playing that night. Apparently, they don't typically have a cover charge. Drinks are inexpensive, service was quick - we'd recommend it!

I was easily the oldest one here. This is where you go if you're in your twenties and you want to show off your freak outfit.  It was like all the kids here were wearing costumes or something.  Great for people watching, though.
