A great find by using Yelp Post. As noted, great selection of beers, TV's, eye candy, and friendly atmosphere.  No complaints on food ordered; boneless wings, buffalo chicken tenders, pizza. All were on par for sports bar food. (Secret found out too late, the chicken tenders are hand breaded as you order not pre-breaded, so you can order them naked). Was passing through town for a concert, on my next trip, this place will at the top of my must stops.

Wow what a nice find, my wife and I were heading back to Wilmington ,we were hungry but didn't want fast food, we came across Buffalo Brothers and were very happy that we did. We both had wings, the honey jalapeno wings are amazing! We sat at the bar and our bartender  Chrissy was outstanding, very friendly, knowledgable about the menu, and the beer selection, she really made it a very pleasant experience, and we will definately be back. I would be remiss if I didn't mention the friendly atmostphere and patrons, yes you Jim.... Go Boston!

Fantastic service, GREAT food.  Usually places with so much variety on the menu don't make anything fantastic but everything here is great, especially the hand breaded chicken tenders.  The servers and management are very friendly.  Also great to have somewhere convenient to eat after everything in Cary closes at 9pm.  Thanks!

PS.  I love the claw machine!

This place is okay. I went for the first time today.  Let me preface this by saying that my rating is based only on the wings! I did not eat in. I ordered the wings to-go since I'm running out of places to find good wings.  I figured this place has got "Buffalo" in their name and the location looks nice, so the wings must be good too.  Looks can be deceiving, I guess.  The wings were nothing to write home about. I guess I'm still searching!

For all who gave this place a meh review, I've gotta ask: "Where are you going for sports viewing purposes?" We were Hi-5 people for all our games; when Rocky Top revamped to Draft, we started searching for a new place. Sure, Buffalo Brothers has not become my Cheers, but here is what I can tell you:

    1. The beer selection is legit. Probably 20 beers on tap  - from local breweries to popular microbrews to your standard Coors Light and Guinness!
    2. Never a wait - I don't have to put my name in and wait 45 minutes here! Can always find a place at the bar!
    3. Tons of TVs! They are everywhere...and well, you came to watch sports, right??!
    4. The food is really, really good for a sports bar! The Jalapeño Poppers are fresh; and not fried! And spicy! Yum! The grilled buffalo wings are ahhhmazing! I love them - great flavor, great wing quality! I've gotten the lasagna twice, and my husband has also had the ABT burger and boneless wings - he said both were delish! And for lighter fare, they have a bunch of sandwiches that are awesome! Def spend the $2 extra for the Mac and Cheese side!
    5. I'm pregnant. Wish they had milkshakes, but overall, decent dessert menu for when your sweet tooth flares up!

Go! Enjoy! Pretend you're not pretentious and just want to go watch a good game!

I'd probably give this place 3.5 stars but I'll round up since I'll probably go back. I went for the first time to Buffalo Brothers for an ECU event and they had a great section off to the side that has plenty of room for big parties. We got a booth right near the huge windows, which was nice. Our waitress was nice and quick, no complaints on service. Drink specials were great -- $2.75 for a Yuengling, $3 house wine. The listing of specials through the week all looked pretty decent. Definitely a place to go for a big game.

We ordered an appetizer of pickle chips. It was a huge plate and super delicious. I'll have to come back during happy hour for half priced apps. I had the buffalo burger special. I was craving wings but switched to a burger when I saw it was on special but I probably should have stuck with my instinct. I ordered it at medium rare and got back a very well done burger. No sense in complaining because it was a frozen patty and a second one would come out the same. The meat itself was very greasy. I know a burger isn't going to be health food but it was just coated and dripping grease. There was hardly any buffalo sauce on it, mostly just bleu cheese. The pretzel bun was pretty tasty and the homemade chips were delicious. My boyfriend got the ABT burger and thought it was alright. About $50 for 4 drinks, an appetizer, and two burgers.

I would come back for drink specials and appetizers. I would like to try their wings next time. Definitely avoiding the burgers in the future. It's not the best, it's not the worst. I'd probably go to a few of my favorite sports bars in the area before immediately coming back here though. It's close to me, which is convenient. I wouldn't recommend going out of my way for it though.

Great wings with great flavor. It's not trendy frough-frough flavors, its more traditional weeks. We go on a weekend during the day and it's never a madhouse. IF you like good wings Buffalo style, you won't be dissappointed.

Ok, but when you have other options like Ale House or Buffalo Wild Wings, etc. go with them.  When a restauraunt charges extra for ranch sauce that says a lot.  The price also for what you get is not good.  10 average to less than average sized wings for $10...i would expect larger sized wings for the premium price.  For that price I would also expect not being charged extra for blu cheese/ ranch dipping sauce...come on man!

    One and done.

The parking here is horrible!!! Of the three times I've tried to eat here, I have only been able to find parking once. The other two times, I left after driving around for 15 minutes with no luck. The one time I was able to eat there, it was decent. The menu is very large, so everyone should be able to find something they like. The food was pretty good-not excellent and not horrible either. Decor is sparse and mainly consists of TVs everywhere.

It's really nothing special, just your average bar food. I would give it 3 1/2 stars but I don't think it deserves four, so that is why I gave it three stars. I've had the buffalo chicken pizza, which is pretty good but the crust reminded me of cafeteria pizza that I had in elementary school. I've also had the chicken ranch wrap which is also pretty good. They do have a large restaurant with plenty of televisions to watch sports and a nice outdoors area that I haven't gotten to try yet.

This place has got a good thing going here.  I've only been twice, but I love the atmosphere, food, and fun that they provide in-house.  For a sports bar, I must restate: the food is really fab.

I was there last night and I was there on a Monday last month because my crew and I came to play some trivia.  They do not take reservations, but they are more than happy to put your name on a list and prepare for your arrival.  They are really friendly and helpful on the phone and in person.

Happy Hour: 1/2 price appetizers from 4:30 to 6:30 pm Monday through Friday.  The selection is pretty good too.  I've had Buffalo Chicken dip on both occasions.  Last night our table also had the Macho Nachos and hummus as well.  We killed all three.

Fun: DJ Trivia on Mondays starting at 7 pm.  They also have DJ Bingo on Wednesdays, but we've never been for that.  There isn't a seat in the house that doesn't have a view of a TV.  Last night I was able to watch basketball, hockey, and play trivia all at once.  Definitely a win-win situation.

When I was in last month I had a pear and walnut salad with a balsamic dressing.  It was so good.  Since I was tempted by the wings the waitress had the kitchen but some chicken grilled in wing sauce on there too.  It was SO good.  Last night they didn't have those special salads anymore.  Our server, Ryan, had informed me that they had taken their seasonal salads off so no berries or fruit salads for me.  I ordered an Italian sandwich on Ciabetta bread.  It wasn't very good, but it wasn't too terrible.

My friend ordered the Buffalo Chicken pizza, which they're apparently quite well-known for, and was really happy with her choice.  Another friend had a burger and killed it.  And a third friend ordered a sandwich which she also killed.  I was the only person not raving about their meal, but I'm still a huge fan because overall they do a really good job there.  The only other complaint is that they need more parking around there.  Nonetheless, if you drop by Buffalo Brothers, you'll be happy you did.

    The food is good.

Fresh jalapeno poppers!   Very nice to get something that doesn't come from Sam's freezer case!

Also, this is the first place I have ever been that actually offers a cup or a bowl of french onion soup!   It was nice to be able to get a cup and get something else as well...as opposed to eating a whole bowl and not wanting anything else.

That being said, there is little to no atmosphere in this place.  Very sterile and uninteresting.

Having been there on a cold, day I also had to keep my jacket on as it was not very "cozy" inside.   Mentioning it to bartender didn't help.  He said he was fine because he was running around.   Uhhh...thanks!

It's the Buffalo Blue-cheese dip that brings me back over and over. I'm also a fan of the Pretzel Burger (a bit messy) and the Chicken Salad Sandwich. They also make the best potato chips I've found at any place in the area. When the weather is nice the patio is most enjoyable. I've always had good service from all members of the staff. Inside can get to be a bit loud at times. The owners might want to add some sound absortion materials to stop the slap-back. Plenty of TVs to catch your favorite game/s. And the patio is dog friendly. They even have water bowls you can place by your table. Parking is their biggest hassle.

There's really not much to say about Buffalo Brothers except that I would equate it to  the Toyota Camry of sports bars.

It has a alcohol,  flat screens and a typical bar menu.  This bar covers all the bases but has no soul and anybody that has driven a Camry knows what I'm talking about.

Unfortunately these types of places are way too common in Raleigh.

For a sports bar, I found the food at Buffalo Brothers to be pretty good. After eating here a few times, I am ready to give it four stars.

We most recently visited last night and I really enjoyed my burger (pretty sure I have gotten a burger every time I have eaten here). I had the burger with pepper jack and jalapenos and Josh got a burger with bacon and swiss. We were both satisfied with our choices - the burgers were very large and very moist. Mine was too big for me to finish. The fries were okay, not great, but the burger made up for it.

We've been here a couple of times before. While I have not had the wings personally, my dad and brother both ordered them on one occasion (hot) and said they were good. They wanted to try the hottest flavor, but our waiter discouraged this, saying that you had to sign a waiver to eat those wings. He did, however, bring out a sample of the sauce for the hottest wings, which was a nice touch.

They have good drink specials here nightly, including 2.75 for all draft beers (including Guinness) on Tuesdays. I would have ordered one of their $5 martinis myself last night if we had not just stopped into to Bottle Revolution a few stores down!

It seems like a great place to watch games (we have been here before heading to Hurricanes games in the past) and we will probably visit again to watch some NCSU or Hurricanes games this season. There are tons of TVs and lots of bar space. Buffalo Brothers is good for families too, as there were a lot of kids there when we were eating dinner last night! There is a lot of space inside the restaurant with a nice outdoor patio. Next time I really want to try the buffalo chicken pizza!

This is one of those places that's fine for what it is, but isn't all that great. If you look at it as a sports bar, it's just fine.

I ordered a salad when I went there that came with some boneless wings on top. The bartender was nice enough to help me with a sauce recommendation, since the sauce I initially ordered apparently was pretty bad. So thanks to her for that.

The beer selection was OK for a sports bar like this - they had quite a few beers on tap and a few decent options, but nothing terribly awesome. Not exactly a craft beer destination.

I'd be OK heading back here if needed, but this certainly isn't a destination I'd bother seeking out.

Great beer selection, and always good bartenders!  I have never had a bad meal here, and have tried numerous items.   Great sandwiches (especially the cheesesteak), and really good salads.  I do not recommend the pizza, the crust tastes like a frozen product, although they swear it is made in house.  Lastly, the outdoor, above street patio seating is great, plenty of TVs inside and out!!  Also, this place is locally owned, and I like supporting local businesses.  Give this place a try!

This place is great for a appitizer, burger and throwing back a few draft beers.  This is a great little jewel to hit at happy hour, or for a couple beers while planning a lazy Saturday afternoon.  I will definitely go back...especially during football season.  That patio looks sweet.

Typical corporate chain fare. They'll ask you how you want your burger cooked, but don't bother telling them; you'll get it well done. They don't grind their own meat; instead they use pre made frozen burger patties. The buffalo chicken tenders could also be found in the frozen food aisle of your grocery store. Their fries are the same - bland, precooked and frozen. Sandwich toppings aren't fresh. Bacon was limp, greasy, and undercooked. Our server was good, but we couldn't finish our food it was so disappointingly terrible. I'd never go back; there are too many good places to eat in Raleigh to waste time and money on Buffalo Brothers.

Food was excellent, I had a coupon which they honored no question asked. Had one of their signature pizzas which was perfect. Service had something to be desired. They did check on us but were very slow with not a lot of people there. Perfect atmosphere for a sports bar, lots of TVs, bar looked fully stocked (though I didn't partake of anything) but I did look over their specials and they looked promising. Ill probably come back another time for some wings next.

I've gotta admit, Buffalo Brothers far exceeded my expectations as a typical sports bar.  Yes, there are flat screens in every direction, but there is very comfortable seating; the booths are laid out well.  The spacious outdoor patio faces Lake Boone Trail, so there is a nice, mesmerizing view of traffic and tall pines.
The menu offers quite a selection of salads, burgers, wraps, and wings of course.  They use a seasoning in the batter of the fried pickles that is just scrumptious.  The chicken buffalo wrap is outstanding, packed with shaved lettuce.  The creamy coleslaw and zesty pasta salad are both so tasty.  I was really impressed with everything!
They have a wonderful mix of draft beers - several local craft brews.  The bar is nice and long, plenty of seating.
Parking can be difficult but I love that Buffalo Brothers is convenient from 440 and still feels off the beaten path.  A nice mix.  This is definitely our place to hit when on the western side of town.

I had posted earlier that the hottest sauce in town was the 'Braveheart' at Wild Wing Cafe.  The 'Ludicrous' sauce here is much hotter.  In fact, it is the hottest wing sauce that I have ever tried (well, at least as hot if not hotter than the Thai Torture sauce at Chai's), and I am afraid to order it again.  Incredible.

First off let me start off by saying that I am from Buffalo, and miss certain foods terribly.  You have not tried real chicken wings until you've had them in Buffalo. (Seriously) I first attended Buffalo Brothers because I wanted to watch my beloved Buffalo Bills play some football (even if they do have a less than perfect team) and I knew it was guaranteed to be on the big screen there.  The place has the perfect "sports bar" feel, it's spacious, with large flat screen TV's, a large bar area and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.  They also carry Labatt Blue on tap, a beer I love that is imported from Canada, served everywhere at home, but practically non-existent down here. That was a major plus in my book!

I hadn't planned on ordering food, just wanted to hang out and watch the game with some fellow fans, however after throwing back a few cold ones, and seeing and smelling everything around me, I decided I needed to partake in the culinary festivities.  The food was AMAZING. My first time there I got the Barbecue Chicken Pizza, which is absolutely incredible.  This kind of pizza tastes so different depending on where you get it, and let me tell you, they nailed it at Buffalo Brothers. Since my first visit I have been back several times, and have tried the Chicken Wing Dip, Buffalo Chicken Pizza, Burgers, and of course the Chicken WIngs.  I might as well have been back home, eating the amazing, greasy, saucy wings.  Each time, I have had a great dining experience in a comfortable, chill atmosphere.  This is the kind of place where you just feel like you can hang out and have a good time.  The menu is very large, and very intriguing.  I know that I will have several more visits in the future, as each time I go I have trouble deciding what to choose, because I want so many things. The pricing is very reasonable as well, and they have a lot of different drink specials that vary depending on the night you go.

Now I do not enjoy this restaurant simply because I'm from Buffalo, although I do enjoy reminiscing and feeling that little bit of "home" when I go there. They have the kind of food that anyone would enjoy, and there is something on the menu for everybody.  It's  definitely some place you'll want to check out for yourself!

Just what the Triangle needs, another Buffalo themed sports bar right? Well Buffalo is known for their wings and pizza among other things, so they are welcome.

Apparently this place has been here a while looking at other reviews. My first visit was the other night. It is clean and spacious and looks new with the ubiquitous amount of flat screen tv's. Our waitress was friendly and efficient despite the fact that she was finishing a 12 hour shift (she told us). I went against my better judgment and ordered the baby-back ribs. The meat was chewy and flavorless, but the sauce was ok. The fries and cole slaw that came with was better.  I have heard the items to order are the pizza and Buffalo wings (see first paragraph), so that is what I will do next time.

I wouldn't go there expecting inspired food, but for a nice relaxing place to watch the game and down a few beers Buff Bro's does the trick.

First time at Buffalo Brothers and it was just O.K.  I arrived early and chat-ed with the hostess who was very pleasant to talk to.  We were shown to our seat quickly and the waiter came to our table right away and gave a few of his favorites on the menu.  He did not smile the whole time we were there.  Within minuets of ordering our food came out to the table very promptly.  The salads were very good the wings were just so-so.  The menu says they take pride in having the largest wings, but my wings were small. I can name 3 other places with larger wings.  The menu had many salads, sandwiches, pizzas and burgers besides wings.  I might try something else next time I go back.  They do have a nice outdoor patio which will be nice in the summer evenings.

I feel like an update is in order after trying the Buffalo Chicken Pizza at Buffalo Brother's last night. The chicken and jalapenos were perfectly spicy and the combo of blue cheese and mozzarella was way better than anticipated. That, on top of $3.25 Rum & Cokes on Mondays (trivia night)...the food really does the job and hits the spot. I've also enjoyed the Buffalo Chicken Tenders with the Hot & Sweet sauce. The sauce is exactly as described!

The service in this place is also above and beyond the service we initially received. We got that same rude waiter one other time, and it took him FOREVER to do everything, including bring us our checks and then just as long to process the payments and get back to us so we could leave. If you don't get him (sorry, I wish I knew his name), you're golden. Everyone else has been great (especially Allison!)

Buffalo Bros gets an extra star from me for proving that they DO have great service, on top of decent drink deals and tasty bar food.

We mostly sit at the bar...the service is great friendly bartenders. Never have to wait long for orders it's also a great place to catch a game.

Althought they have a standard menu they do have monthly specials which is a nice change up.

I've enjoyed their Buffalo Wing Dip (just like the dip I make for parties), Wings of course (Garlic Parmesan & Sesame Chicken!), My favorite sandwichs are the Italian Club Sandwich, Turkey Reuben & "Tommy's" All American.  I was not a fan of the Super Club Sandwich probably  b/c of the Texas toast! Love Love Love their homemade chips! The Meat Lovers pizza is very tasty.

Their prices are reasonable and they have awesome daily drink specials!

After visiting with the new addition to our extended family at Rex recently, we found ourselves in need of dinner at 9:30 at night.    We were very glad to spot this place nearby.  And I was even happier to find Barbaloo wings!  Yes, just as great as the Capitol Blvd. location, but I'm upping them a star because Husband was much happier with his burger here than the other location.  Much happier.  Even liked the fries better.
Service was very good...and I'm telling you, if you like your wings grilled with a slightly sweet/slightly hot combination...try Barbaloo wings!

I AM STILL LICKING MY FINGERS!!!!!

RIBS: the bones just slid out, sauce so good I dipped my fires in it and contemplated using as tooth brush

Artichoke dip: creamy, nice balance of flavors, they could have made a better choice of their chips or have them a bit fresher.

Cheese Cake Trio: Holly AMAZE BALLS, Something for everyone, three balls best when shared as you will dig something and another may not suit your taste...that's when you give it to your significant other.

Coming back to try more of this menu

It's what you order that makes this place.

There've been one or two items on the menu which I thought were just blah...but here are my all time faves and the reason I keep coming back to this place time and time again:

    1) Hot and Sweet wings. Their wings are small, which is seriously how I like them.  It has more flavor that way and there is an higher skin to meat (I'm a huge skin fan) ratio.  The hot wings (without the sweet) was just okay.  So defintely put one their flavors to your hot wings.

    2) Jalapeno poppers. These are not the regular breaded and deep fried popper that you can get on most restaurants. These poppers are so much more and are utterly addicting.  Beware, however, the "hotness" very much depends on the fresh jalapenos they use.  Sometimes, it's REALLY hot, but most times, it's just perfect :)

In addition to those two favorite dishes, I love the fac that this place is dog friendly!  Bring your canine companion and be seated in their patio! They even have doggie bowls for man's best friend to quench his thirst during the hot months!

Buffalo Brothers opened a new location near Rex Hospital, so hubs and I decided to go check it out.  Unfortunately Buffalo Brothers ended up fitting the generic sports bar mold.  Lots of TVs, drink specials, and uninspired food.  Not that I was hoping for the latest gastronomic techniques.  Just good pizza and wings.  I feel like a dummy trying to critique this meal, but when I saw the menu I had high hopes.  I was deciding between pizza and a prime rib sub!  The pizza was recommended by the waitress.

First the pizza. I ordered a personal-sized Italian, a white pizza with ricotta and mozzarella as well as tomatoes, meatball and sausage.  The crust was thin and flavorless, almost like matzoh bread.  The toppings were plentiful but just didn't help revive the crust.

This might be a good place to catch a game.  The service was good, but the namesake food didn't impress.  However, perhaps you should give it a shot for yourself.  It seems many in the Triangle disagree with me!

It's a sports bar, but it's new and the food is really (no I mean really) good.  Since smoking isn't allowed in doors anymore it's good for the family also.

This is about as good as a sport bar can be in my opinion.

Three stars is also as good as a sports bar can be so this is like an 'A' rating for a sports bar!

Ahh, the ubiquitous sports bar!  You know the story: a bunch of flat panels, cheap beer and lots of fried foods.  Not the usual type of place I want to check out but every now and then I gots to go!  And that's what Buffalo Brothers delivers, the typical sports bar experience.  This new location on Lake Boone Trail is decent, it's big and spacious with a nice concrete patio.  Plenty of TV's around and definitely a popular place for college football.  But what about the food?!

I've been at Buffalo Brothers twice and it's always been a meh experience for me.  I loves me some wings from time to time, Buffalo Bros has some decent flavors but definitely not as good as Buffalo Wild Wings.  And the wings were also sort of puny, these birds obviously didn't make it to the gym much...  The onion strings were fine but a bit cold with pre-packaged sauces.  And yeah, the place was busy which makes me think that Buffalo Brothers isn't really making the food to order.  When you order fried food it should come out awful hot, not the case here.  The menu is pretty much what you could get at any sports bar so you better be doing it damn well to stand out, in my opinion!

Service was fine, we did some Coors Light specials including some beer towers. If you're gonna drink crappy beer, it's gotta be cold, right?  So what's there to say but Buffalo Brothers is ok, probably 2.5 stars but I'm knocking them down a bit because of the prices and smaller portions.  While I did order a lot of food and drink a lot of cheap beer, my tab still came out to over $50.  Yep, I could have eaten at the Rockford  three times or the Pit a couple of times with far better food.   Enjoy Buffalo Brothers for what it is, an average sports bar with a convenient location!
