Stopped by for a quick lunch with SO since we were in the area. This location is almost always deserted so when we walked in and was quickly seated in the empty dining room I wasn't too surprised. While we were enjoying our meal, three other groups also came in, but that was pretty much their busiest.
I had a voucher for buy one get on free wings, but alas it was only good for the Lenox location. The manager was really apologetic about it, but I completely understood the restrictions and am ok with it.
We both ordered wings, SO ordered dz mango habenero and I ordered 18 wings, split into sweet bbq and mild. It's funny that SO's spicy tolerance has gone waaay down and he barely was able to finish his wings.
The service was a bit slow and my water was in desperate need of refills at a few points, but there was only 1 lone server from what I could tell.
This is a chain restaurant, that has decent food.
My wife and I love eating here. The wings have lots of flavors, but they are a little small. They only have naked wings, which may be a deal breaker for some people. They have lots of beers on tap, but most are domestic, so if you are looking for a more sophisticated selection, you probably will want to skip. I recommend the potato wedges, and the mini corn dogs. This is a great place to meet with friends and be loud and hang out. You won't bother anyone, and sometimes the game is so loud they run us out a little early because we can't hear ourselves talk.
Review Source:I dunno.... This one is OK, but nothing special. They have several GIANT screens, but the quality of the picture is lacking so it kind of balance out. It is never crowded, but never empty either. Consistent, if not spectacular service.
The food is also consistent, so if you like BWW then this place is fine. I'm just not wowed by it.
I went there tonight and the waitress was pleasant and pretty attentive. She was a little quick with the check and didn't ask me if I wanted more to drink after our bill was paid even though we were still sitting there chatting for a while. True, once the bill is paid I guess they don't have to take care of you anymore but I appreciate it when someone goes that extra mile. Well, it's not even a mile but you get my point.
The wings were okay, nothing special. I haven't had wings in a long time but I remember that wings can be phenomenal and these were just okay. Hey, at least they had the Celtics v. Heat playing. It god loud and rowdy in there but I appreciate basketball enthusiasm. Just a heads up to those who haven't been here but want a quieter wing eating experience.
I was a little disappointed about my experience. Â To start with, the service was very slow, yet she was courteous and nice. Â The hot wings, somehow tasted more like they had bbq sauce, than the traditional hot Buffalo wing sauce. Â It was sweet and Catsup like thick. Â Then there was the celery that had mussy corners. Â I couldn't even touch them. Â Now the Lemon Pepper wings were very good, and the fact that you could substitute fries for a salad for only .99 was good too.
Review Source:If you are more of a quantity over quality type of person, this place will do. The wing specials on Tuesdays and Thursdays will do the job. They also have draft beer specials, so it's a decent chain place for wings and beer and flat screen TV.
If you find a sauce you love (and they have LOTS of choices), you can buy them in bottles! I got a bottle of honey bbq and made some sloppy joes with it, and it was so delicious I entertained the idea of starting my own BBQ joint (but I wouldn't since I'm a savvy business woman and the profit margin would be pathetic).
They have a variety of seatings, and it's an easy, good place to hang, especially for groups.
I go Wild Wings for greasy food and beer. Â One should never expect a whole lot from a place like this, but tonight was particularly bad. Â
Monday night...two guys butchering an acoustic set-list of 97.1 the river....the waiter didn't know what kind of beer the special-priced beer was, and he didn't go check....had to ask him three times for lemons....the spud soup was cold and had no potatoes
....but the beer was good!
Okay, look. It's BUFFALO WILD WINGS. It's a chain that serves wings and bar food. If you're expecting more than that, go somewhere else. You will not get mindblowing food here, and you will not get mindblowing service. But you will get pretty good wings with lots of sauce selections when the craving hits.
The food is consistent; we've never been disappointed, but we've never had more than beer, wings, and an appetizer or two. It's always what we expect it to be sometimes just what we're in the mood for. I personally enjoy their wings.
Service is not so consistent. Sometimes the server is the best you've ever had -- friendly, personable and knows exactly what you need, but more often than not, they just can't seem to be bothered and take their sweet little time refilling drinks, etc. The other day a manager sat with a visiting friend at a table close to ours and she looked like the most miserable human being in the planet and made no attempts to hide it when we made eye contact. Soooo... if you can get over that, and you like wings, you'll be good.
I can't say much for the other food items but I'd guess they aren't exactly anything to write home about.
I so want to give this place a 2.5. Â I eat here semi-regularly with my best friend, who likes it more than I do.
Usually I am disappointed by the food, it's just, so... average. Â I mean, I guess if you're a wings fan, which I am not so much...
However, the service is usually adequate, and I have to say the 'Buffalitos' are excellent. Â What they are is grilled chicken soft tacos. Â Get em without the cheese if you like healthier fare. Â I had mine with 'Jerk' sauce. Â We had real actual carribean cuisine in south Florida, so, the Jerk was more of a joke...
Sincerely, I prefer not to eat at chains, and for bar food I prefer $3 Cafe, or Taco Mac.
What a nice little surprise! Â Hidden away in a Publix shopping center in north Sandy Springs is this great wing spot/sports bar. Â They have TVs everywhere! Â Large TVs! Â So, if you want to watch a game, then you're pretty much set. Â The service is really friendly and attentive. Â We came with our laptops to take advantage of their free Wi-fi and when we had some hiccups getting online, they were very quick to address our issue.
The food is pretty damn tasty for a sports bar. Â Fried pickles...Hells yeah!! Â And little corn dog nuggets!! Mmm! Â The burgers were big and sloppy and oh so good. Â And the wings... while not the best I've ever had, I certainly didn't send them back.
Monday night is poker night, for those into that kind of thing. Â Maybe I'll bone up on my Texas Hold 'Em and give it a go!
#Yelp365 Â - Â 3/365
This location is bigger than the other one I've visited in the Lenox/Phipps area. Â I really just stopped here because I was on my way somewhere in Roswell and needed a bite to eat.
I tried the Naked Tenders this time, and they weren't bad. Â For some reason the chicken was almost too juicy. Â I know that sounds like a weird thing to complain about, but it was like it was boiled instead of grilled. Â Hmmm. Â Still, dipped in wing sauce, it was not bad. Â I like the Spicy Garlic sauce.
I ordered the potato wedges as my side and they were pretty good. Â My server offered the option of topping them with cheese, but I had picked up several cuppycakes from Caryn's Cakes and figured I'd be eating enough fat later. Â
Service was really, really attentive. Â At least 3 different people came over between the time I sat down and the time my water came out to check on me. Â I don't think my water took long to come out, so that's a little weird. Â
Then once my food came out, it took a really long time for my server to come back to ask me if I wanted my check. Â It might have been because I was alone and reading a book at the table. Â It definitely wasn't because they were busy - it didn't seem packed at all.
Overall, not a bad experience but nothing to write home about either. Â Decent chain with a nice variety of wing sauces. Â Naked tenders are a pretty good option if you want to save your fat grams for something more interesting.
Edited to add: I almost want to give this place another star because I just found out that it's the same company that once opened a "BW3" location on Marietta Street when I was in college. Â I fondly remember many drunken college nights there with my friends (and I think there were wing eating contests). Â But then again, my purse got stolen there once, too, so maybe I'll just leave the happy memories in the past. Â :)
It's a chain restaurant, you get here what you can get at 1,000 identical locations. We have sat down for lunch and ordered take out. When ordering take out make sure to verify your order before you leave. My wife ordered the mild wings and they sent her home with an 'extreme' sauce which was not good. To their credit, we were able to call them and they swapped the wings out within 10 minutes. We don't live that far away. The bar is overpriced, and I didn't notice any specials. They have large TVs which would be great for a football game. They may do wrestling or ufc pay per views, but I have not verified with this location. Other BW3's I have been to have been a good place to catch a free show.
Review Source:I've only been to this particular location once, however, I've been to I think every other one in the area as well, including Kenessaw, Lithonia, and Douglasville. Â I'm not sure they don't have one in a cetral location of the city?? Â This location is pretty far up Roswell Rd, like past Sandy Springs...I'm surprised it has an Atlanta zip. Â Anyway, I really like BBW's! Â My favorite sauce is the Mango Habenero. Â It is sooooo hot, and sweet at the same time. Â I don't know how people eat the even hotter flavors. Â I usually get the popcorn shrimp w/ the MH sauce and their potato "chips"--actually like little flat potato pancakes. Â I'm not really a wing person, but I do love the boneless wings as well. Â Actually, the fish and shrimp platter is good too---not a flour breading, but not cornmeal either--not really sure what is is, but its good and really crunchy! Â I've never been disapointed at during any of my visits. Â The service is hit or miss, but nothing terrible. Â They do have some good drinks--I've had the Caramel Apple Martini. Oh and you can play a trivia game while you're waiting for your food, which is fun especially when there are a lot of people in the restaurant.
Review Source:Great place for wings. The blazing sauce is my favorite. they offer .25 cent wings on tuesdays. this works great if you don't like getting the standard 10. Â Be sure you can handle acid hot before you get the blazing. I once was there on a sort of double date. A friend and I met a guy there earlier in the week . We decided meet up at BW2. The guys already ordered by the time we arrived. they must have ordered the hottest sauce because one of the guys (my date) Â was ooozing out of every facial orifice. He had tears streaming down his face and thick mucous dripping from his nose. Luckily I had chosen to NOT eat. They had ordered a basket of fries that my friend was eating out of with him! The guy kept wiping all the bodily fluid but his body kept replenishing.
I excused myself from the table and left the restaurant. I never answered his phone calls since. He called for about the month wondering what happend and even called my friend to ask. I never returned the phone calls. All I could see when I thought of him was mucous . Anyways, I digress. Â BW2 also has a full bar, so, drink up.
