Buffalo Wild Wings

This is a fairly good franchise operation that you sometimes see in stand-alone buildings, but most often in a bar setting. This one is pretty good, although we had to ask for the music to be turned down (at lunch time) so we could talk around our large, round, table. Service was really quite prompt, and the food was up to par for bar food. I'd rate it higher, but, it's only bar food.

My first experience with BWW was when I lived in Peoria.  When they first opened, the food was crisp, hot, everything the corporate powers-that-be would have wanted out of their little pet.  But of course, once the honeymoon is over, people get lazy, cut corners, and the food and service reflect that attitude.  Except, that is, in good ol' Macomb.

The service was nice.  Just....nice.  At times our server looked annoyed with the whole idea of just being at work, but she got us everything we needed.  My companion had told me, "this is where I get the most consistent service in town."  She and I both grew up in the 'burbs, so if BWW is the best in town, you take the money and run!

Of course, can't beat huge-ass boneless wings for 50¢ apiece on Mondays.  It was hot and fresh too, just like the old days.
