Guadalajara Mexican Restaurant

Love this place!  Excellent food and great service.  Love the nachos and salsa.

The quality of Mexican food varies depending on where you are in this great country.  When I lived in Macomb I really enjoyed Guadalajara. However, I had no idea that this was really just "americanized" mexican food that caters to the masses of middle aged white midwesterners who have no clue what flavor is.  After living in California and New Mexico, I've discovered what Mexican food is really supposed to taste like - spice, flavor, love. - It's a shame that people think Guadalajara is the best Mexican food they can get.

If you are ever so lucky to find yourself in Macomb, IL make sure you check this place out. Very authentic Mexican food. When I was in school at Western we would go here all the time. Fantastic and huge margaritas and the salsa and chimichangas are a hit!
