Got the jamaican jerked chicken sandwhich and boneless wings in garlic parm flavor. The wings were good. The server was very nice to my daughter and checked on us regularly. I could see this being a fun spot to watch the games. But as far as food goes pretty standard for sports chain rest.
Review Source:I have been to Buffalo Wild Wings a few times since they opened in my hometown. My sister is a HUGE fan of wings so she really wanted to go there for a family dinner when I visited. The first time we went in we enjoyed good wings, ribs, and craft beer. Now they have mediocre wings, no ribs, and crap beer. I really do not know what happened! I had such high hopes. I guess their clientele is more of a Coors light and buffalo wing kind of crowd :( They also have pretty terrible service! Totally disappointing!
Review Source:I'm not typically a fan of having a dinner devoted entirely to an appetizer, but we had a coupon for Buffalo Wild Wings and decided to check it out. Granted, there are more than wings on the menu, but how can you go to a place called Buffalo Wild Wings for the first time and not get wings?!
The place was pretty rocking for a Thursday night yet we were still greeted and seated quickly. The waitress was fast and knew her beer, which is always good. I was happy to see the selection of beer available, as nothing quenches your thirst while eating wings quite like a cold one. I got a beer from one of the local breweries in Newburgh and it was pretty good.
One thing that is interesting about Wild Wings is that they give you these game pads at your table so you can play trivia, poker and black jack on TV screens against other restaurant patrons. On the downside, this takes away from some of the table conversation as you become too distracted by this electronic device in your hand.
For dinner I got twelve boneless wings...half in medium buffalo sauce and the other half in BBQ. The buffalo sauce had a good heat to it for a medium...I wouldn't want anything hotter or weaker. The boneless wings are very filling, and in retrospect I would have preferred the regular wings so I wouldn't be so stuffed. We also split an order of onion rings which were decent but nothing exceptional.
It's an ok place in a town that is definitely not known for it's food scene. I'd rather go for a beer and snacks than for a full meal though.
I know this is a chain restaurant, but I was not impressed.
I have had better wing sauces elsewhere, however, the chicken was fried perfectly.
I had a steak wrap which was not served well. The sauce combinations were "eh" and the meat was so chewy. The meat needed to be cut thinner so I didn't have to pull on a big piece of meat with my teeth....yeah that gives a girl a great image. Good thing I wasn't on a date.
There is a takeout station, very loud with lots of men coming to watch the big games on TV. Women and children were there too, but they were probably better off going to Olive Garden for a better meal.
I was not impressed with the quality - could be better for a chain. I will not return.
The only other compliment that I can give (beside the quality of the chicken wings) was the service. The waitress Kim was very attentive, outgoing, and definitely made you feel welcomed.
Very average, which is sort of a disappointment after the raves I've been hearing for years about the chain. I ordered a chicken sandwich with the second hottest sauce on the menu, which was okay. Nothing better or worse than I've had at other chains.
I can't see rushing back to this place anytime soon, but if the opportunity arose, I'd go back. I just wouldn't expect to be blown away.
Had to remove my first comment upon visiting a second time. I had claimed that there were no real local or craft beers available...apparently my server just wasn't sure what I was talking about or she was new or I wasn't clear with my question.
Just went for an afternoon snack on a Sunday with my wife and on the way in, I know I spotted an Ommegang tap handle behind the bar. Even though there's no mention of Ommegang in the printed menu, I asked the server about their drafts and she handed me a list with a decent selection, definitely the best I've seen in Middletown for the price. I had an Anderson Valley Summer Ale and my wife had Victory's awesome belgian trippel Golden Monkey. Others on the list included Ommegang BPA, a Dogfish, a Rogue, and maybe 2-3 others. Granted, 7-8 craft drafts out of a potential 30 lines is still relatively sad by my "Philly standard," but for Middletown it's out of this world.
The prices aren't on the list, but based on our bill, I'm assuming that most of the craft drafts are $5, and the premium craft/local are $6.50...and we're talking the (short) pints here, we didn't get the tall size.
As far as food goes, we ordered 6 medium wings and some fried pickle chips (slices as opposed to quartered). Both were done well...though we did only get 5 wings for some reason. To their credit, the manager noticed something was amiss right away, asked us if anything was wrong, and apologized for the missing wing. A few minutes later she returned with another plate of wings to make up for it, which we appreciated!
One other note, we sat outside and were surprised that there wasn't more road noise from 211. It might have been the clear plastic sheeting that was down, but still, surprisingly quiet.
So in conclusion, on a slow Sunday afternoon, this BWW did not disappoint...not sure how things are when they're super busy, but the service for us was attentive, food was good, and the beer was fresh and delicious. We'll be back.
This is by far the worst buffalo wild wings I've been to. The layout of the resturant doesn't make any sense to begin with. After sitting down our waitress did even give us napkins or coasters for our drinks. She offered us lemonade and then when we ordered a lemonade she brought us an ice tea.
The wait for the food was over 50 minutes long. The food came out cold, wrong, and with other peoples food on our tray. The waitress didn't even bring us napkins or silverware until we asked twice.
Save your time, money, and patience and go to planet wings and eat at home or go to the wing place named My House in downtown middletown.
