Update
I came back and had 3 more visits to see half of the staff turn over since the transition at the end of October  2012 from franchise to Corporate. Sad to find out many have left. It was nice to see some familiar faces still around, it keeps me coming back. I'm hoping the new staff can fill the gaps, as this is still a fun place to go for trivia. Some things that changed were new boxes for trivia new juke box no more dart board some draft beers are new. Two beers of the month Tip: look for the swing tags as they will be happy hour priced. they now have 16 types of sauces and 5 dry rub seasonings.  The competition for NTN Buzztime is the best on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturday nights. The staff here are open to adjusting channels to make customers happy.
After my experiences here and at other locations, I am writing off this restaurant chain completely and it is a real shame because their wings are really good.
So, why one star? Â For one thing, it should not take an HOUR to bring out 8 boneless wings and fries. Â It should also be obvious that someone sitting in the dining area having a drink is probably not intending to take his order to go. Â Furthermore, after realizing that this was not a "to go" order, it should have been readily apparent that the number of boneless wings in the basket did not match the number ordered. Â When it is pointed out that six is not eight, it is not necessary to take away the food just to add two boneless wings to it -- just bring out two more. Â Additionally, what happened to the bleu cheese dressing and celery? Â I had to beg for the dressing and I suppose that there must be a celery shortage.
Had this only happened this one time, I might have been able to dismiss this as some sort of aberration, but about a year ago, a co-worker and I stopped in here for lunch and it still took over an hour to bring out our food even though they didn't seem very busy.
Unless I hear of major changes, I will never set foot in a Buffalo Wild Wings again.
Bartenders need to do a better job of paying attention to customers and not each other. Several times they walked by without asking if we needed anything  and I had to flag them down to have my beer refilled although it was sitting at the edge of the bar empty for them to notice. The bar was not busy and there were two bartenders working. They both were horrible.
Also after we were done eating the bartender came down to ask how the food was. Really..dude we are all done now.
Yep, another review of a chain. Ah well, deal with it! Buffalo Wild Wings is not a regular "pick" in my dining choices, but when I do not want to venture into one of the many corner neighborhood bars and take my chances with an unknown menu or fanbase...when I simply want to grub on decently priced "wings" (I prefer the boneless non-wing substance they serve) while watching men smash into one other like drunken goats on a field (American football), then I will pick BWW. It is also seemingly the only place in America where you can dine/watch with plenty of fans whose rooting interests are varied and different kinds of crazy.
The service at this location is top-notch. Friendly, quick, and they do not mind if you wait a while to order -- great, because I feel guilty eating wings then sticking around for the next 2 hours watching the game. I was surprised to find this location also had a decent selection of local brews on tap as well (Lakefront, MBC, etc).
My experiences with other appetizers (mozz sticks, deep fried mushrooms) haven't been fantastic. But the boneless wings are usually solid and the new jalapeno sauce with lime is on point!
Again, not a regular diner here -- I need to find a local place that has great wings and does not front when it is apparent I am "not here for the Packers" -- I have been stonewalled (service, attitude) by too many places for not "backing the Pack." When I want to watch my beloved Colts on a non (locally) televised game, I will go here and know there will be a healthy contingent of "other" fans, and I can go without being razzed for rooting for my hometown team. Case in point: at this location, I have seen & pleasantly interacted with fans of the Raiders, Vikings, Bengals, Lions, Bears, Colts, etc. My only gripe is the deafening techno music that sometimes rings through instead of having sound from multiple games depending on your seating location.
Solid A-OK from me, folks. Now bring me another 6 garlic parmesan wings, STAT.
I absolutely love BW3s.
I am a l w a y s happy with my food and I leave so full.
The last time I was here I had these three mini chicken sandwiches. I like getting these because you can choose a different sauce for each.
They are delicious!
I like going here when it isn't busy, because then the atmosphere is very chill.
But, it is hard to find a time when it isn't busy.
Also, parking is a hassle. The lot is small for the amount of business they get.
We are regulars who frequent this location almost on a weekly basis.
You seat yourself at this location until it gets busy, then someone will greet you.
We find we have the best service from Camille around 4-5 pm (before it starts getting busy). Â Any other time or server, the service is lacking.
FOOD RECOMMENDATION: Ultimate Nachos with Chicken (plus extra Pico De Gallo)
DRINK RECOMMENDATION (ALCOHOLIC): Buffalo Zoo (or Pink Buffalo)
Friendliest service I've had in a while, and I really mean that.
They were busy, but our drinks and food came out way faster than expected for a packed restaurant. She checked up on  out table several times to see that we were comfortable. I really wish I could remember our waitresses name so I could give her a shout out.
I had a craving for wings, and that was at least satiated at this visit during the second week of January. I liked the huckleberry and mango lemonade - truly unique and tasty. Our waiter was neglectful with beverages and refills, however, which makes one panicky when eating hot wings! He entirely forgot about our beverages at first, and at another point I had to corner him to get us water refills. This visit was disappointing but when we've come in the past and played trivia, and had more attentive service, it was quite fun. I would still go back.
Review Source:My friends and I live in the area and are repeat customers to a lot of restaurants on this stretch of Mayfair Road. We went in one evening for a take-out order, and ended up waiting about 25 minutes for our food even though we were only one of two carry-out customers there. The restaurant, also, was not packed. The other carry-out customers ordered after us yet received their food well before us. When they finally called our name, we took it home to eat whereupon we learned it was cold (not lukewarm, cold), my hot BBQ wings were, in fact, Mango Habanero - a sauce too hot for me to enjoy and I enjoy spicy food, and part of our order was missing.
We called in about the problem and went back (luckily we live in the neighborhood). The manager had remade our entire order (correctly and well-heated) and gave us gift certificates to cover the cost of another meal on the house.
While this particular experience was a pretty bad one, it was dealt with in a way I definitely respect. I'm all for second chances, and will certainly be back again - after all, I really dig the honey BBQ sauce.
I go to the place at least once a week whenever I'm in town, so it deserves high marks in my eyes. Â What I love about the mayfair location is that it's huge, everyone is really nice, and they actually get your order right!
Another thing that seperates this location from the others in town is that they are really liberal with the amount of sauce that they put on their wings, which only makes it better. Â Make sure to check out the Thai Curry and Jammin Jalepeno Flavors. Â They've replaced Mango Habenero and Carribean Jerk as my go-to flavors.
I give it a four because, compared to other wing joints, it's pretty expensive considering the size of the wings.
Been going to this BW3s many times over the past 4 months. Didn't take long until I felt like a regular there. Zac, Isiah, and Heather are the greatest. The service there is exceptional. I have had Sarah as a server the couple of times that I had to sit at a table and she was the best. The trivia competition there is very good, and the players are all friendly; including JB, Beamer, Calkid, Tone, Geo, Ian, and the others, Including Jim, who dreams of being in the 12 million club. I go out of my way to be near this BW3s when I work in the Milwaukee area. I do realize that there are some unhappy customers everywhere, but I have not experienced that at this location. Go there... and go there now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review Source:We ended up rolling in around 7:30pm on a Saturday night. Â We planned on being out but didn't know where to eat. Â After a 10 minute wait (I was quoted 40 minutes??) we were seated at a table in the bar area. Â An NFL Playoff game was on the big screens and a variety of basketball was on other tvs. Â Now I'm thinking SCORE! Â My last minute date is turning in to a football party! Â My tall beer was good. Â Her sampler platter was good. Â My chicken queso wrap was good. Â Here comes the big but! Â A party of 17 or so (not sure how many since onsies and twosies kept drifting in) was seated right next to us and you would think they closed the restaurant down for them. Â First of all they had seated some people in that area and then made them go back out to the waiting area because they wanted to set up for the big group. Â (Wait what?) Â Right. Â Seated people after they waited and then said, "Oops! Â Go out and wait some more!" Â Then because our waiter seemed to be the only one waiting on the party we had a hard time getting his attention for the bill. Â In fact, after about a 20 minute wait we caught him running past our table and then quickly asked, "check please!" What is his response? Â He put up his hand and said, "Wait", and then ran off again. Â What?? Â Really??? Â Not only did this come off as the rudest customer no-service moment of well forever...but he didn't bring the check!!! Â We had to flag down the manager (I think) and he brought it. Â Food was good as it is in most BWWs but really all it takes is one rude waiter to make us never want to return.
Review Source:I have been to the BWW 3 times and each time the food and service has been consistently good/solid but not excellent. Every time I have been here it has been busy - one way to get a seat quick is to sit at a table in the bar area (same food/service but no wait).
Our family like to play their BuzzTime Trivia game and also watch sports on their numerous TVs.
Food - generally lots of variety - if you like wings/meat with sauce. But the last time my wife ordered a pizza and it was excellent. Last time I had a Jack Dandy burger with a side salad - salad itself was enough for a meal. Portions are ample and free drink refills.
BBQ is one of those things that you like your meat really really wet or not. BW3s is really really wet. For me the wings are so wet the chicken skin feels slimy...slime is not a feeling I like from my food.
Their potato wedges are pretty good but if you order it with cheese the cheese hardens pretty quickly and peels right off the wedges.
There are MUCH better wing joints out there.
