I like this place a lot.  The best view on the lake, freindly staff, and the food is legit.  This is one of my go to places to take people from out of town for a water front experience.  The cons:  On weekend nights, cabo is definitely looking for quantity over quality.  Its a mix of thugs, Jersey shore want to be's, and alcoholic old people.  There are usually some good looking girls but you'll have to compete with 6 steroid injecting, affliction wearing dudes to every 1 girl.  The majority of girls who go there are looking for this type of guy.  Also, the police who patrol this area are a bunch of overzealous 20 year old kids who want revenge for all the wedgies they got in high school.  You could be doing everything right; Call a cab, have a DD, etc. but the minute you walk out Cabo's front door you can go to jail just for looking at the cops.  I'm not exagerrating at all it has happened to a few of my friends and I see it there all the time.   A great place to grab a couple beers and something to eat, but I steer clear on Friday and Saturday nights

Flashback to college. Holy crap, it was like walking back in time. A divey bar with bumpin' music and cheap-ish drinks (ya get what ya pay for, so they aren't super strong).

The DJ was good and kept the up-beat, dance-able songs coming. With not a ton of options in the area with a "rowdy club" vibe. Not too shabby... watch out for the occasional creeper who like to grind... unless that's what you are looking for/in to... then, jack-pot!

This seems like a good place to end the night. Strong drinks and they're serving up late night food, enough said!

Cabo is interesting. A mix of all ages from twenty-somethings to fifties. Great place to meet up with a group of friends for a casual night out to enjoy a few drinks and people watch.

The bartenders are typically nice, and attentive. The music is usually decent.

If you're looking for your one and only true love, this place probably isn't for you.

I am not from the clear lake area but we went here on advice from a local. It was fun and the dress code is really relaxed. They have a live band on the top floor and dj and sand pit on the bottom floor. The drink prices were reasonable and the music was good. the crowd was very mixed with young and old.

Three strikes and you're out.  We gave Cabo Seabrook three tries over the past two months.  Let me just say this place is very poorly managed plain and simple.  With its waterfront location and dock / deck side areas it has so much daytime potential.  However during the day the waitstaff is inadequent.  Some of that staff is rude and unless you like cold food you might as well forget it and plan on 1 to 2 hours to get what you ordered.

As for the bar they have plenty of staff there and you can get served if you're sitting at its very limited seating, but good luck at the rest of the property.  Also the indoor portions of this place have an underlying musty smell of old beer and vomit.  A little regular bleaching with Clorox could go a long way to improve the smell after closing.  As such I would recommend to only drinking bottled beer as their mixed drinks are just nasty.  Even the ice had a funny taste, which causes health concern with cleanliness of the ice machines and the bar mixing wands for carbonated mixers and juices.

Summary...this place was so bad we almost bailed out on our waitress to go eat and drink at Sam's Boat.  However she finally brought our cold disgusting orders and bad drinks since she was supporting a table crowd on the fourth with little help from the bar staff I hold the management fully responsible.  As such don't waste your time, your money and especially your patience until this place gets new management and a health inspection.  1 star is too good of a rating for Cabo's in Seabrook.

Cabo is always a gamble. In my experience, every night has either been an unintentional high school reunion for the local 20-somethings OR a super ghetto dance party OR just overly crowded by a bunch of wannabe cougars and dirty old men in Afflcition tees looking for a hook-up. You just never know what it's going to be like for the night until you get there. It's worth checking out for the sole purpose of people watching - just don't be surprised if a 40 year old woman stumbles out of the bathroom with the most awful tramp stamp poking out from underneath a sagging tube top.

Just like in any other small town "club" the dance floor is small and the DJ isn't that great. I prefer the patio or downstairs where things are a little less strange.

UPDATE: I will never go back to this ripoff. Bartenders adjust bills to what they want. I ordered a round of a well vodka for friends (well, acquaintances - hence the cheap stuff) and got charged for Grey Goose.

I didn't like Cabo as Club Classic. The crowds alittle young, but I actually enjoyed it. The dance floors changed some  as well as the dj booth and stage, the table clothes are gone, and the bar area's more approachable. We have smokers in our group so it doesnt both me, so long the smoke filters out.The down stairs platform bar is fun, with the sand, swings and hula hoops, viewing the water. There's been a Raggae Band, last couple of times. Its not a place I can stay out all night at though.

    This place.... is confusing.

My high school reunion was moved here due to low ticket sales at another venue. The place was titled in the invite, "Cabo (formerly Club Classic)".

There is definitely shock factor because when you drive-up, the building that says "Classic Cafe" is the building in the forefront and it looks like a shack with a statue of a pelican greeting you. I thought, "Dear Lord... no wonder it was the FORMER Club Classic." But really, it's not the right place.

Cabo is in the back by the water. Note that the side entrance that takes you directly the the patio isn't necessarily the safest, especially if you're already drunk or you are wearing stilettos/pumps. My heels got stuck in the wood AND THERE WAS NO HANDRAIL so I almost fell into the water. omg. Just take the main entrance.

More shock value: YOU CAN SMOKE INSIDE. Wth?! Apparently the anti-smoking ban is not effective in Seabrook.

The crowd: So confusing. There was a mix of 40+ something men and women -- the men wearing polos & jeans; women showing off their tattoos and tans in their camisoles, accented with bleach blond hair.  Then there were the late 20-30 somethings scattered about. I even saw a baby at the bar.?!!?

There's a band that likes to cover Sublime. In between band sets, they place a hodge podge of danceable music including "The Cupid Shuffle" and "Wobble" slide. Again.. CONFUSING!

The wait staff is haphazard. Young 20s and don't give a shizz (prob because they are overworked). Double check your bill and if it's wrong, maybe it'll be corrected 30 minutes later when they finally get back to you.

I'm glad I could check that one off the list so I never have to return.
