Cafe Europa

Came here for ladies night, they had $6 cocktails for ladies so I really enjoyed that.  

Overall its a cool little place.  The music is a nice change.  Really enjoyed the seafood salad that they have.  My friend got the steak sandwich and it actually had a strip steak on it!

Came here one late Sunday night around midnight looking for a bar with a friend.  When I pass this palce I usually see a few older gentlemen sipping coffee outside or watching soccer inside.

0Main across the street was closed but this place looked open...completely empty but it was open.  I got the feeling that this was a place strictly for Europeans, Italian I think.  But the bartender was nice enough and had a "when in Rome" moment when we ordered glasses of Sambuca with the 3 coffee beans.  They were only like $5 too, try finding a shot of sambuca in the city for $5.

I had a good time here, but that may be because we were the only ones there.  Can't imagine coming back here on a more crowded night being an English only speaker.

Good food and drinks, mostly eastern European crowd.  The weekends during the winter months are packed with people, with the occasional dj playing.  Good pub food but also has Italian appetizers and dishes.  It is a real European Coffee bar, with gelato, espresso, deserts, and also alcohol.   Breakfast is also served anytime.   The oweners Saverio and Juilia treat all their customers with respect.  There is also a small room for private parties available.  I like this place because the oweners take care of their customers.
