Came here one late Sunday night around midnight looking for a bar with a friend. Â When I pass this palce I usually see a few older gentlemen sipping coffee outside or watching soccer inside.
0Main across the street was closed but this place looked open...completely empty but it was open. Â I got the feeling that this was a place strictly for Europeans, Italian I think. Â But the bartender was nice enough and had a "when in Rome" moment when we ordered glasses of Sambuca with the 3 coffee beans. Â They were only like $5 too, try finding a shot of sambuca in the city for $5.
I had a good time here, but that may be because we were the only ones there. Â Can't imagine coming back here on a more crowded night being an English only speaker. Â Â Â
TL;DR
-Cozy cafe atmosphere
-Target clientele seems to be italian
Good food and drinks, mostly eastern European crowd. Â The weekends during the winter months are packed with people, with the occasional dj playing. Â Good pub food but also has Italian appetizers and dishes. Â It is a real European Coffee bar, with gelato, espresso, deserts, and also alcohol. Â Breakfast is also served anytime. Â The oweners Saverio and Juilia treat all their customers with respect. Â There is also a small room for private parties available. Â I like this place because the oweners take care of their customers.
Review Source:I really wasn't expecting much meeting up with an old friend here for lunch, but the fish sandwich was surprisingly good. Â I thought that the order would come with fries or chips or something, but it seems to be something you have to order in addition to the special. Â It's a small cozy spot where you can bring your pc and access wi-fi. Â The service is a little lacking as we had to go up and actually ask for menus. Â There is a child there that kept trying to interupt our conversation whining to have a bite of our food. Â It was very strange. Â The prices are affordable. Â I wouldn't mind coming back again, but maybe pick it up and eat elsewhere.
