Captain Morgan Club

Better than I expected--so close to Wrigley and an easy place to grab a drink before a game. It was definitely not as crowded as I thought it would be. A bit more expensive than I am used to, but can't expect much else.

I met up with some friends here prior to a game.
Let me start out by saying the Captain Morgan is not my friend, I do not drink the stuff.

The place was somewhat busy and they definitely did not have enough servers. When a server did stop by our table we had to hurry up with our ordered. That may explain why I ended up drinking a drink that I did not order. Bleh.

The three of us shared some nachos that were of the like of a grade school basketball game. Not so tasty.

You can take home your souvenir cups that come with the drinks. Drinks are very pricey.

The DJ managed to make sucky songs sound even more sucky. How? Why?
Where did Ronnie Woo Woo come from? He just magically appeared!

A big plus, you can enter directly into the ballpark from this place. That was nice.

Bathrooms are also right before you walk into the ballpark.

Bike parking on street, but do not ride your bike to a Cubs game unless you want it peed on, puked on, or stolen.

Short answer: Drinks are pricey, but pretty good.  Food, not so much.  Waitstaff was fantastic when I was here.  DJ was pretty horrible.  

You can get into the park through the bar, which is a nice bonus.  Decent place to meet up with people before a game, but about on par with most other Wrigleyville pubs (aka crappy cash grabs), just outside, so the DB stick doesn't linger.
