Cabana is a West Indian (Guyanese & Trinidadian) restaurant with a bar/lounge area attached. The restaurant isn't amazing ... the food is good and the ambiance isn't spectacular.
Overall I enjoy the food, it's not something I've ever think I gotta have but it's not terrible. It's average food for a reasonable price.
The bar/lounge area is also pretty cool. Typical West Indian music, sometimes a little bit too loud but the drinks are okay and not too expensive. Sometimes I get a feeling that the bartenders really should be certified bartenders but its typical for West Indian bartenders to not be licensed.
There was a great Puerto Rican guy/bartender who made amazing Mojitos. The staff there is really why I enjoy going there. Most if the bartenders there really can make a decent drink.
One of the chefs from Kaieteur opened his own restaurant and this is it.

It is decorated  in a similar way. Caribbean Cabana is also West Indian and Chinese cuisine. Caribbean Cabana is in Little Guyana too. <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Fqueens.about.com%2Fod%2Fphotogalleries%2Fss%2Frichmond-hill_8.htm&s=e23a7f8a061f1bfc34d288c4ba94df6521332119249178f10ef9c641cf113824" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://queens.about.com/…</a>
The service is friendly and  the food is good. But I prefer Kaieteur. The fried rice was not Wok seared very well and it was missing something. It was just a step down from Kaieteur.
Never the less it is a good option for Chinese West Indian in Little Guyana, Queens.
