Carlos Club

This is San Carlo's hottest dance club.  If you want to see old white guys dance or if you're into cougars this is the spot.  Lots of cuties over 40.  They play old school hip hop.  Drink's aren't too pricey, and they have something like 8 beers on tap.

I always enjoyed coming to the CC for good music and drinks but my last time there sucked! The DJ comically named "Italian Stallion" which by the way looked like a little mexican midget!-was playing random music that didn't even go together- from old school Humpty dance then cut it off in the middle of the song to put on  Spanish Banda type music to then cut that off and played Lil John -it was just weird and  not danceable.
I requested a song with the DJs man groupie that was standing next to him all night and it was never played so I went to the "Italian Stallion" lol myself and he put his hand in my face before I even said anything and then after he pretended to push a few buttons on his keyboard he then looked my way as if he was extremely important and I asked him if he could please play my song, he said he had a full play list that he already had set up so I asked him didn't he make his own play list? which he said he did -so it shouldn't be a problem to put in one extra song? He said he would "try" to play it as if it would just ruin his whole random list. He never played it- oh well... then one of the bars security guys was super drunk and was yelling that he was the BOSS and how drunk he was, he was a latin guy with glasses- its in bad taste when the security is more intoxicated then the customers. Its not about the song so much as it is the people who work and represent the Club-word of advice go somewhere else

Ive been here a few times before, on girls nights and what not, and I always had a great time. The drinks are of course expensive, but its a night club, I expected it. The music was awesome, all my favs and the staff was nice enough. there was no drama, no fights, no rude security and no issues with my tab, things were over all fun! My only 2 complaints would be the bathroom and waiting for a drink. there is only 1 bathroom, with one toilet and girls go in groups of 5 and fix hair and makeup, while some of us really have to pee! they should have anticipated this problem. and the bar was so crowded..... id def. go back there!
