Not my type of place. We went around midnight & the place was filthy with drinks spilled everywhere. The crowd was young & annoying. The place wasn't as crowded as expected & still appeared small to me. It was very hot & uncomfortable. Music was okay & then started getting weird towards the end. I will probably never go back.

Rock the Casbah! Rock the Casbah!

I have never had a bad time here.  Seriously, it's not the greatest place in the world but it is always full of great people and fun times.

What do you want from a club?  Good music? Check.  Drinks?  Check.  Nice people?  Check.  It's not some super high class, blow your socks off kind of place but it is an awesome place none the less.  Go and enjoy yourself.

This club pretends to be Vegas-swanky by enforcing a dress code, but shows its pure Jersey trashiness by not offering a coat check. This place has less class than Donald Trump's haircut. Trust the 2 star Yelp average.

    What a shitty club!

We stopped by here at 3ish in the morning on a Saturday night for a nightcap near our hotel. The front door guy tried to charge us $20 EACH to get into an empty club! When we made a face, he then tried to make it sound like he was negotiating a great deal by telling us we could pay $30 for the three of us instead. Um.......... no.

Luckily, a manager saw us and brought us in immediately. Smart man. We should have just left though as soon as we walked in. Really, there was practically no one there and the floor was covered in liquid and straws. Gross.

Definitely not coming back here. EVER.

Music was pretty good, not too crowded. We had fun for a cool December night.

Spent my bday in glorious AC...stayed @ Taj so decided to check out the Casbah... all i can say is meh.  Stay away on a Friday night, unless you want to stare at the empty dance floor, bored bouncers, and the few stray cats that walk into this empty place saying "the parties here! (with the worse jersey shore voice impression). I asked for a Absolute & cran...for $9 the bartender had a heavy pour, but gave me the cheap shit so it tasted like a splash of red #40 & rubbing alcohol. It was 1230...and empty. Drink in hand...i did not stick around.

Came here on a friday night around 11pm. No line. $20 cover. Didn't feel like paying and walked out. A bouncer saw us (2girls) upset and got us in. The crowd ranged from typical jersey shore to business types to a little old lady around 75?! Drinks average around $10. Not cheap but not too bad. A shot of Jameson was actually half a cup. :) Vultures everywhere! "Hey, would you ladies like to join us in VIP?" said overly tanned guy with blow out. No thanks. But it was fun. Two sexy ladies were dancing in the boxing ring. Cheap laser show was going on. Swore I got burnt on the arm by one. Got drunk, had fun. The floor got really wet/slippery/soggy at one point.
It was a good night. Would I go back, yea probably. We usually stay at the taj anyway.

My friend and I went here on a Friday night since we were nearby, but it turned out to be a wash.  I had heard pretty good things, but I was really disappointed.

    The positives:
    - No line to get in.
    - Pretty young crowd.

    The negative:
    - Not enough people there (which would explain why the line was non-existent).
    - The DJ couldn't decide which song he wanted to play, so he would switch every few seconds.  I'm all for a variety of music, but at least keep a song on for a minute so you can actually dance.
    - The lasers/lighting--I'm usually a fan of cool lighting in nightclubs, but this just felt like a cheap laser show.

I wouldn't really recommend this place unless you're right at the Taj Mahal and don't want to go anywhere else!

This is place is smaller than I thought considering the amount of people they let in. It was pretty overcrowded packed butt to gut, but that's sorta to be expected when one goes to AC on a Saturday.

First let me describe the layout. When you first walk in, there is a bar that is separate from the rest of the bar at the entrance with a couple tables and benches. When you get in to the actually dance floor of the club, there are 2 bars inside sandwiching the dance floor with a dance platform in the middle and several private tables for bottle service surrounding the club. There is an outside deck with it's own bar, many tables, a cabana, and a great view of the ocean and one of the piers. The bathrooms were outside the club downstairs so they are a bit out the way, but I kinda appreciate that and they were clean.

The service was good even though it was crowded with the bar tenders bring very attentive and polite. I suppose that's because the drinks were a bit pricey with a 12oz can of beer costing $7 and a mixed drink being $9. It is worth mentioning that they are generous with the liquor so you will get some bang for your buck.

Unfortunately I can't remember the decor too well, but I can say the atmosphere was your typical techno dance club complete with fog machine, red and green lasers as well as what I believe was some kind of glitter/artificial snow coming from the ceiling. The private tables were well lit with different color lights and the deck had potential to be very fun if the weather were warmer (I was a week from Halloween when I went).

The crowd was pretty decent with a few hotties and good people just tryna have fun. I didn't see any one starting trouble or direspecting ladies which is great so there is no worry of fights breaking out.

I would say it's a pretty good spot, but it would not be my first pick if it's always as crowded as the night I was there. As a backup plan however, it's a nice enough place.

    Yuck.

    Rundown venue. Rundown crowd.

Came here on a Friday night because a friend-of-a-friend had bottle service (Translation: Free Drinks).

The place was only about a third full (on a Friday night? Really?) The DJ plays fun music, but I didn't want to dance because... well straight up-- the only people who come to Casbah are the ones that are too broke or not good looking enough to get into The Pool at Harrah's or mur.mur at the Borgata. They slithered and slimed all over me until I retreated back to the safety of our table.

I had to leave after 1/2 an hour because I couldn't stand being eye-fucked by creepers any longer. I won't be back-- not even for free liquor.

My friend and I went here on a Friday night.  We had a good time, the music was good for dancing, and the overall experience was a lot of fun.   Now the downside... A ton of reviews said that girls get in free.  We were each charged a $10 cover, so I'm not sure what happened.  It's not like we're busted or anything.  And the drinks are fairly expensive.  They had all vodka drinks on special that night for $5.  So I would suggest going to Wild Wild West at Bally's to get buzzed before you go to Casbah to dance.  It's a long walk but you can get down there for about $10-$15 on one of those boardwalk carts.  A cab is probably cheaper.  But anyway, we had a lot of fun here. The dance floor was pretty slippery though, and there were a few sleeze balls hanging around but also some really nice people.  There's an outdoor patio where you can go for a breather and another little area outside of the dance floor w/ seating if you need a break.  There was a dress code if I remember correctly.  For girls I would say don't wear flip flops and just look nice overall.  Not sure about guys.  I don't know if they have different DJ's every night or what, but another reviewer said the music was "schizophrenic".  The night I was there, it was not, it was really good and fun.  We danced all night and they stayed open til around 4am.  Walking in AC at 4am may be intimidating, but there were cops on four wheelers outside who were genuinely interested in making sure the girls trying to walk home weren't bothered.  Overall good time here.

We stopped by on a late Friday night.
We were staying the the Taj for a bachlorette and we were on our way to Borgata to go clubbing when we saw this club.
The bouncers told us that there was no cover charge.
And there was a reason why!!
We go in, the venue is pretty nice, almost as nice as the clubs in Vegas.
Once we got into the club, it was DEAD! I kid you not there's less than 100 other people in the club, hardly anyone one the dance floor and I think it was about midnight already on a Friday night! WTH??
So we just lef tto Borgata.
Venue seems upscale. However, the crowd was iffy

The young clubbing ladies are definitely at the Casbah in droves, their polyester bubble dresses and thick, heavy mascara speaking volumes. Some of them even dance remarkably well, though most of them are best suited to grinding against with increasing fervor. But, many of them are undeniably hot. I also like the fact that the crowd is quite diverse.

However, I have several issues with the men feverishly working with their Macs in the sound booth. DJ Someone Or Other spins on weekends, with a posse of ripped men in tight shirts, and clearly has no clue about the crowd's taste, effectively overlapping different tracks, or establishing a mood. Violent transitions from hip hop to techno to Top 40 hits make me gasp for breath and flail my arms in frustration, and even the go go dancers (men and women) become confused by the schizophrenic music.

Considering that the cover is only $10, you should modify your expectations accordingly. At least the drinks are strong and they're open all night.

Casbah is definitely the nightclub to go to for a mixed music, diversity, and to see hot gogo girls dance. They got like big screen tv to watch the girls dance and this is the first club i seen with a girl dj! you dont see many of those in philly! haha! but it was definitely hot. Bars are all around, it wasnt hard to get a drink and the henny shots, omg, they do not play cuz i got drunk as mofo and i had to wait in a long ass line for bathrooms!!! so one thing i didnt like was the bathroom. 2nd thing i didnt like is that there really isnt a dancefloor..people just sort of crowd around the gogo girls dancing area, which is the middle, and just dance around it...because throughout all of the walls of this place was vip sections and bars...oh yea if you wanna use more bathrooms, then you would have to walk all the way down the hall from the club to the other side and use it there where its probably vacant cuz people dont wanna walk there lol. girls are in free...well when i went i was always in free! and the people are kinda crazy in there...drunk crazy..

and if youre done with casbah and youre hungry, they got aunti anns right outside, YUMMY! :D
