Center Brickhouse Pizza

Yes, this place has a great location - right next to the bike trail. However, when I was there on a Wednesday night - it took forever to get our food (a good 30-35 minutes!). We sat outside, since the Bruins game was going on inside so the bar area was quite packed and loud. The place seemed under-staffed, since many of the waitresses who served our table and others near us, were also serving the bar area tables. This would explain why our food was not hot when it arrived at our table. The calzone I had was kinda greasy, and was only decent. We seemed to have 5 waitresses, rather than 1 or even 2. I was not impressed.

This place is definitely better than your average pizza/sub shop. It's an extremely popular local hang-out. The food, the sports bar, and the outdoor dining deck keeps bringing them back for more. During the lunch hours on a nice day, the deck is packed.

Just wanted to provide an update to indicate that although the pizza delivered was very unpleasant, my experience hanging out AT the Brickhouse is a completely different experience.

The Good
I frequent this hangout a couple times a month and enjoy the time I spend here with my friends. No hassles and plenty of TVs around the room to watch your favorite sporting event. The menu is basic bar food, nothing too fancy, but I do enjoy their wings and the variety of sauces to choose from.

When the weather gets warmer, the outside seating is a nice place to be. Get there early for lunch if you want to get a table outside or just wait until the lunch rush is over.

They have keno there, which is a nice perk. I like to dabble in a little gambling while I drop back a draft.

The room decor is nice... lots of cool sports memorabilia around.

If you are there late (after 11pm), they graciously put cheese pizza for your snacking pleasure.

The Not So Good
The seating area inside is a bit small, but manageable. The wait to be greeted or served can sometimes be longer than one would like. The bathrooms are unisex and nothing fancy... it gets the job done... one on the main level and one upstairs. Parking can be challenging during busier times, so be prepared.

Overall, good place to hang out in the evenings with friends for a few drinks and watch sporting events.
