i would actually go 4 and 1/3 stars.the prices are very good the staff is friendly and skilled the owner is often there and will get involved to help with any problem,the crowd is friendly and such disparate items as the fish sandwich and the ribs are as good as you will find

Some of the best food we've had in the area. Service was very friendly without being too casual, just a nice relaxed atmosphere with absolutely delicious food. The only drawback was the slow service; we were never ignored, it just took quite a while to receive our food. I am definitely not criticizing the servers, or even the kitchen, really. I just think, from the quality of their food, they do the vast majority of their cooking completely to order. Didn't taste like anything had been held in a warmer, pre-blanched, etc. It took a little longer but the results, as I said, are absolutely fantastic
