Satellite Bar and Lounge

This is the happiest music venue that I have ever been in. Great banjo picking and fiddle while I was there, a summer breeze, children holding hands, dogs - and good beer. Does it get any better?

It saddens me to write this update. We had to walk out of Satellite the other evening because there was no bartender behind the bar. I'm not talking about a few minutes. This was a long time. How can you have a bar without a tender. You had one job. Maybe Satellite is too cool and hipster for me after all. I mean, what's more hipster than a bar without a bartender? That's transcendentally hipster. And it sucks

BY FAR, THE BEST BAR AND LOUNGE IN TOWN!!

Has the feel of a community pub and is an amazing space. Very warm. Very inviting.
I love how they have events that draw the community of all ages and tastes.

The bands they get to play are great -  no stage so the musicians are up close and personal with the crowd. When they open the huge doors on the side of the building, it makes it even more inviting and comfortable.

Decor is very indie and hipster, but relaxed and effortless in being a sweet spot. It doesn't try too hard to be something special....it just is!!

I especially love when they show free movies on the outdoor big screen.

Great place to just hang out!
