Nice atmosphere and I hear it gets packed wall to wall on some nights, which is hard to imagine since the bar is incredibly tiny.
But, on the night we were there, it wasn't packed. Â We sat at the bar and ordered our drinks, got them right away and ate the crackers the bartender placed in front of us.
I was happily tipsy when I left to go next door for dinner. Â
It really is a cute little Irish bar.
Cool little Irish place, we dive bar lovers felt right at home at happy hour. I did notice some of the locals we saw running shops around town popped in here for a beer, but I'm starting to get the feeling that the locals don't talk to the non-regulars due to heavy tourist traffic, people were definitely keeping to themselves.
Jameson and Guinness weren't expensive; seemed to be cheaper than the other places we visited around downtown.
The music was pretty mainstream alt-rock (yeah, that's a genre) and kind of out of place for such a strong Irish vibe. It threw me off a bit. Would like to check it out later in the evening next time around.
