What a huge menu this place has!!! Believe it or not, I am not a fan of large menus. I prefer to have a smaller selection to choose from because you know that the product is being turned over regularly. Restaurants with large menus tend to use a lot more frozen food because they don't turn over product as fast. That being said, I had a good lunch. I ordered the fish tacos which came with five tacos, rice, and black beans. The fish was tempura fried, which was different but not that great. The pico on the tacos greatly added to the flavor and kind of made up for the lack of flavor from the fish. This place was good, not great, and I may return in the future.

    Corporate Chain...

I don't frequent them, but when I'm eating with my picky daughter we have to go somewhere that appeals to the masses. I will have to say, I'm done with The Cheesecake Factory though.

We waited about 15 minutes for a table, which wasn't too bad considering it was 1pm on a Saturday. They offered us a menu while waiting...no doubt a ploy to hurry up the process once you are seated. Believe me...turn and burn is the name of the game here. OH MY GOODNESS...our server moved and spoke so quickly I had to have her repeat things.

My daughter ordered off of the appetizer menu (sliders) along with a salad and a coke. I went with the veggie burger, sweet potato fries and tea. Both meals were okay...nothing special. We also ordered a piece of cheesecake to share. Bill total was $51 with tip. Ridiculous.

We felt rushed and very "not special". I just can't stand the pretention and lack of attention to customer service. No thanks.

A billion great options in a menu the size of an encyclopedia, and that's before you even get to the cheesecakes. Buffalo Blasts, Louisiana Chicken Pasta, and Adams Penutbutter Cup Cheesecake.

Five stars for their Godiva chocolate cheesecake. Ganache, it's good.

I am so contradictory whether I should give this store a five stars. I will say that the cheesecake here is not only tasty but also amazing !!! ~~ It is not so sweet !~ Nice !~

However, the waiter did a faulty job. I didn't mean every waiter, but the waiter who takes care of us is really hurry ... The attitude he showed to us really like hasten the customer to check   .. Actually, in that time we want to order more..   but he took our bill away and only left  a hurry back.. We wonder why he didn't ask us whether need more dishes ...

way to big of a menu which makes turning tables a HUGE problem. The cheesecake of course is to die for but some of the dishes they have make me wonder what were they thinking

This is the type of place where you go to on your first date since they pretty much have everything. Even the pickiest of them all will have something to choose since they have gazillion options. I had their famous chicken Marsala and it was delish! My hubby had the Cajun pasta and he loved it. We both shared the chocolate shake and we weren't disappointed. Even the free bread was delicious. Of course... How can you skip on the desserts?! Yum!

Consistency here is the key ... always good service, good food, and lots of it.  The rare times I've had something that wasn't up to par, they were quick to correct it.

I've been here a couple of times while shopping at Keystone.  Each time, it's okay - but pricey for what it is, I think... and if you are trying to be calorie conscious, good luck.  I see that they now have a 'Skinnylicious' menu, but I don't recall that on previous visits.

The Fried Macaroni and Cheese appetizer is dee-lish.  The BBQ Chicken Pizza was good - not even close to the best I've had, though.

I will say that their menu is impressively large.  It's like a book.  Many options.

The times I've been here, I've usually been with cheesecake addicts.  Never being a big fan of cheesecake myself, that wasn't the draw... but I will say that I have since tried one of their cheesecakes that was AMAZING... the Ultimate Red Velvet Cheesecake.  WOW.  I'd definitely go in again for just one slice of that and maybe eat a cheaper lunch in the food court or before we head to the mall.

Since writing my original review a few years ago I have had a few more, mostly good, experiences at other SF Bay Area cheesecake factories.  Most were very good, and if anything was wrong -- like a less than tasty salad at the Palo Alto location -- the manager fixed me up with something better right away.  None of my later experiences have lived up to that wonderful salad and BBQ beef sandwich that I had in 2008 at the Indianapolis, IN location.  I did notice last year that Cheesecake factory was ranked as the WORST chain restaurant (for calories/health), which was a bit surprising to me.  I guess if you're trying to lose weight, don't eat here.  Duh!  :-)

This is not a conventional review for me because the Cheesecake Factory is not a conventional spot to really find me in, because it's corporate, it's pricy (for what it is), and I don't even like cheesecake, but this review is really specifically about their happy hour bar menu.

I just started to work near here and I usually take my break between the happy hour time frame (4-6 on weekdays) so I gave it a chance.  This was unlike any of my prior C-cake Factory experiences which all included being dragged their by my mom after she drove me two hours just to go to Abercrombie and Fitch in junior high, so I was unsure what to expect.   However, I was impressed.

The service was super prompt and efficient and friendly.  I didn't have a super high bar set because I know how surly I would be if I had to wear those horrible white outfits, but my expectations were exceeded.

The food was tasty, fast, and cheap.  The list of items included in the promotion ($5 appetizers) are huge.  I got two things assuming that the portions would be smaller (they're not - actually they are quite large, because it's the Cheesecake Factory) and also because I wanted both the avocado egg rolls and the taquitos (sue me, it's the Cheesecake Factory) and couldn't decide.   Whatevs, it was only $10, I probably would have spent that at Subway, and these are pretty much your only two options inside the Fashion Mall at the moment.

I will be doing this again.  Probably a lot.   Oh my god, I am gonna be one of those people who get recognized by the staff at Cheesecake Factory.

I don't eat here often due to the high price tag.  For me it's more of a special occasions restaurant and even then Cheesecake Factoy isn't at the top of my list.  You receive huge portions of food but anything I have had has just been average.  I do appreciate that the staff is very knowledgeable about most everything on their huge menu, which is helpful and comforting all in the same breath.  I was a bit disappointed that our large party of 17 had a dinner reservation at 5:00 but were not seated until 6:15.  Though apologetic, I almost felt as if we were rushed during our entire visit.  I understand they always seem busy but we did already wait over an hour past the reservation time so I don't want to wolf down my flatbread and salad so quickly I can't pretend they taste what they are worth.  The red sangria is quite good... that probably is worth the price. And under 200 calories!

One of my favorite restaurants in Indy
I have been coming here for years, it's impeccable in all areas. Every employee is clean, crisp, and knowledgable about their massively endless menu. When a rare mistake is made.... they immediately take care of it and make it up to the customer in some way. They care about their customers, they want to make sure each person has a good experience and fully enjoys their meal. I know this location is one of the best in the country. As far as food you must try the pineapple upside down cheesecake, it is seasonal but one of the best. Red velvet of course, vanilla bean, chocolate mouse, and oreo cheesecake.  if you are not in the cheesecake mood I suggest the lemonchello for dessert!! Sometimes I don't even get cheesecake I just get the lemonchello. Fresh strawberry martini is always a winning cocktail and the bomb pop martini is a must try if you are feeling daring. Avocado rolls, buffalo blasts, potstickers, are my favorite appetizers.  FYI the Caesar salad is spicy, if you don't like spice tell them no anchovies. There are anchovies in the dressing. The vegetable chopped salad is healthy but has a lot of flavor, it is one of my favs when I am trying to eat clean. Try the Pasta Carbonara, I switch it to bow-tie pasta,

This is a reliable place to get a good plate of food. You may feel really gross afterwards, but oh man its usually sooo good. I used to get the romano crusted chicken, which so yummy.

Recently though, they have a "Skinnylicious" menu which is really nice. I like to be able to know that food put in front of me won't be a full day's worth of calories. I would high recommend both their grilled chicken and their shrimp tacos from this menu.

I got the grilled chicken breasts, and even though it was under 550 calories or something like that, there was a TON of food. Enough for both my dinner and lunch the next day. It came with a nice bruschetta and steamed brown rice. My favorite part was the arugula it was topped with. I really love me some rockets.

The shrimp tacos are also really delicious. Wrapped in warm corn tortillas and served with mexican rice, they are really filling as well.

Of course, now I get to talk about the libations. Their wine menu is decent and includes my favorite wine of the moment: Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc (YUM). I also really like their skinny mojitos. They taste too good to be true.

Lastly, I love cheesecake, and obviously, this is the place to have it. You really cannot go wrong here, but two of my favorites are the red velvet (do NOT look at the nutrition info on this one) and the wild blueberry cheesecake.

All in all, you know when you go here you will have decent service, a good drink, and a good to great plate of food.

Large selection. Excellent service. You can't go wrong here.  We got seared tuna salad, pasta marinara, chicken parm sandwich.   Each tasted excellent.  Our waiter was one of the best.  This is a real treat.  Be prepared to wait awhile to be seated though.

It kind of is ridiculous how busy this place is alll the time here. I've always had to at least wait 30 minutes to get seated for dinner, but hey it's good food. The menu of course is a friggin book, and is impossible to decide sometimes. I somehow always go back to the pork chops here which isn't really a normal choice since they are really known for a lot of other things, but man they are delicious and are served with a side of these home made apples and wilted spinach. It just hits the spot for me.

Of course the cheesecake. Some of my favorites are as follows: White Chocolate and Wild Blueberry, Key Lime Pie Cheesecake, Red Velvet Cake Cheesecake, and of course just Plain with Strawberries.

Bottom line you'll be stuffed after Dinner still have room for dessert, and pay more then what you were hoping for, but still be happy and fat.

This is easily my favorite chain restaurant in town! Cheesecake is my all time favorite food, so right away they're getting like 100 extra cool points in my book. But add to that delicious food, and score one for the mall restaurant!
Getting the worst parts out of the way first....this place is attached to Keystone Mall, so there are obviously some downsides. Pick the wrong time to go, and you could be waiting a very long time for a seat. Granted there's a whole mall to wander around while you wait...but who wants to shop when you're hungry and there's a big glass case of cheesecake staring you in the face!!! Parking isn't always the easiest either. This really isn't the Factory's fault...but it's still kind of inconvenient.
Once you get in, and get a seat though, it makes it all worth it. My go to meal here is the Crusted Chicken Romano. Kind of like a fancy Chicken Parmesan, crusted with cheese instead of bread crumbs. The portion size is huge too, so there's always leftovers for a late night snack.
Last time I went I switched it up and instead had the Fish & Chips. Other than there being just a little too much salt on the fish, it was a dish worthy of any English pub.

Finally...the cheesecake. Oh the delicious cheesecake. Just saying that word makes me start to drool and my heart start to race a little more. If I had to choose between a woman and a cheesecake....... well let's just say it would get kinda awkward. I have yet to meet one that I did not like. Everyone has their favorite flavor, and they have it here. Whether it's a fruit topping, mixed with chocolate, or even just a plain one...I've never had one that disappoints. It is usually a little difficult to make it through both a meal and desert. But they are always more than happy to box up a slice for you to take home. The extra plus side of that is when you take it home they usually put more of the homemade whipped cream in the box than that do on the plates. So score big for that one.

I've been here multiple times, as I got used to having a CF in LA and San Jose and miss it in Lafayette. The service has always been excellent, and the food delicious. My favorite is the key lime cheesecake. Tastes like a creamier key lime pie. Delicious! The only thing I wish they'd improve is the host station.

OK, so maybe it is one of the most oppressive chains out there -- the servings tend to be huge, which makes the rather high price not so outrageous -- but the food tends to be consistent ( that chain thing again) and well-prepared, and although their menu is vast, it certainly offer plenty of options.   I have never had the cheesecake.

After working at The Cheesecake Factory in Boulder, CO for 2 years, I still enjoy the food. I took my girlfriend here on a date and we had an absolutely lovely dinner. We ordered avocado egg rolls and sweet corn tamale cakes as appetizers, a Santa Fe salad for our main entree, and the AMAZING ultimate red velvet cheesecake for dessert. Our waiter, Justin, took great care of us and joked around a bit, making for a very nice atmosphere. Our drinks were kept full, the food was served fresh and delicious, and the restaurant ambiance was very nice. I am impressed!

After years of hearing about CF, I finally had the chance to visit for dinner and dessert.  I'm now hoping that I am not given the excuse to go back.

The food overall was OK, but everything struck me as way too expensive.  You could pay this much to go to a family-grown restaurant somewhere else in Indy and come up with an exceptional meal.  Why go to a chain, which strives to be the same in every location?

The menu, with no less than 5 million options, was overwhelming and unnecessary.  With a group of four dining together, perusing the menu took a long time and was a conversation killer.  As it turned out, we all just randomly picked something and hoped for the best.

On a side note to this, I can't imagine that a chain, with a gazillion options, stocks a lot of fresh ingredients.  I imagine that the pasta sauces are all pre-made and packed in vacuum sealed plastic bags... Loaded with fat, preservatives and sodium.  Yum.

The cheesecake was really a cheesecake explosion.  There was so much extra on the cake with chocolate, peanut butter, etc, that you couldn't really taste the cheesecake part.  It made me think that it was a mediocre product masked with a bunch of junk.  Again, overwhelming.

On a positive note, the wine list was decent.  So I got the opportunity to drown my sorrows over a crappy meal in good wine.  I'll give you a star for that.

Did you know? Cheesecake factory has a 20 page menu.

Are you serious?  I didn't even know they could make 30+ flavors of cheesecake, let alone pasta, poultry, steak, etc.  I had ordered a steak diane, which I've never had prior to my visit.  They grill steak mediallions to your preferences and add in potatoes and onions.  Omg.... so amazing and so good.  The service is great and impeccable.  The servers are so nice.  I'd def return if I were in Indy again.

Out of all the Cheesecake Factories I've visited, this is the worst. Every time I have eaten at this location I've been disappointed in my food. I've tried a new dish every time I have visited, always to be disappointed.

Not only is the food continually not up to par (especially for the price), but on my most recent visit, my dish came from the kitchen much later than the other 3 dishes at my table. Apologies from the manager were made, but no other compensation was offered.

I'll only go back if I'm out-voted by the other diners in my party...

I was out with the fam at the Fashion Mall and we needed to feed the whole crew.  My parents are typical middle-aged Hoosiers who have a very narrow expectation on food.  My brother & sister are a bit more adventurous.  Cheesecake Factory seemed to be our only choice in the area so that's where we went.  It was a first trip for everyone except for my husband & I.

Luckily the wait was only 15 minutes (I was told 25-30, so woohoo on that one).  Our waiter was prompt and friendly, though perhaps a bit over the top.  He kept us full of waters & bread and never made me think "where is my waiter?" so I think his craziness wasn't a distraction.

Everyone but my husband enjoyed their food (he's not a big fan - swears that any place that has such a large menu can't possibly be any good at anything).  We shared the chicken tacos - not quite as spicy as normal but I thought they were good.  The rest of the table worked on the mahi mahi (enough rice to feed a small country), the BLT salad, chicken quesadillas & a burger.  Plus a slice of the anniversary cake/cheesecake for dessert.

Dinner for six before tip was $83 (five entrees, 3 cokes & 1 dessert).  That's about what you'd pay at any chain restaurant and I think the service tends to be a bit better at Cheesecake Factory.

Would I go out of my way to eat here?  No.  But it's a solid chain choice when you are hungry.

I'm trying hard to not let my bias against chain restaurants get the best of me on this review.  Typically speaking, I don't tend to review chain restaurants unless they've done something exceptionally well or exceptionally bad.  Thought nothing specifically blew my mind, I felt the need to review this place.

AMBIENCE- nothing too out of the ordinary.  I think Cheesecake factory is one of the nicer (looking) chain restaurants, though does not come anywhere close to being a "fine dining" experience.   Lights are dimly lit, I suppose to give more of an intimate feel to the whole experience.  We were seated pretty quickly, though the place still seemed packed, especially for a Tuesday evening.

SERVICE- our server was pretty spot on.  She was attentive, friendly, and knowledgable of the WHOLE menu.  I would say the service was exceptional, but she seemed a bit on the fake side.  Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying she has to be our best friend, but it seemed rather contrived.

MENU- if you have never eaten here, the menu is pretty huge.  It's almost overwhelming if you're not sure of what you want to eat.  They have tons of appetizers, entrees from around the world (though I would stick with something on the non-ethnic side), and of course cheesecakes.  Tons of cheesecakes.  This could almost be considered a default place to go if you and your group coudln't decide on a "type" of restaurant to go to.  I wouldn't suggest coming here on a weekend though.

FOOD- no matter what you order, you're bound to get A LOT of food.  My wife ordered some chicken and pasta dish, and I got a seafood sandwich of some sort, and both were pretty good, and in abundance.  Other people at our table ordered salads, and while I generally do not think of salad as an entree, these salads could qualify as one.  Expect to drop $9-$20+ depending on what you order.

OVERALL- not bad, but not great.  I think I did a pretty decent job of hiding my disdain for chain restaurants.  You could do a lot worse, and at least here you get fed a lot.

    Celebrity Rating- Speidi

White people c'mon down and have a typical corporate chain restaurant experience.  If, however, you're a person of color and/or have an accent, I would recommend avoiding this place at all costs!  My family, on holiday visiting from South America and after my Wife had taken them to a Chicago location for a Birthday celebration, had the misfortune of trying to mirror their previous stellar experience only to be ignored and treated rudely by a seemingly attentive wait staff to the rest of the establishment.

After writing a detailed letter via their corporate website, I received a form letter from this location's manager saying he addressed the entire wait staff regarding timely bread service.  Timely bread service?  Give me a break, he completely ignoring the racial overtones and other issues that were expressed to the lackadaisical waitperson at the time of the visit and in my corporate missive.  We were very disappointed, we took the time to help them and correct a wrong, they send a form letter - Great Corporate Communications!

Hard to believe in this time of hopeful unity and great promise that this sort of thing still exists, let alone in what is supposed to be a major metropolitan area.

    Shame on all of you!!!!!!!!!

Yes, it's a chain. But mmmm, is it ever a yummy one.

Yes, we have things like vegetables in Indiana. Gasp! And we even put them in--shocker--salads! Anyway, most everything at Cheesecake Factory is delicious, including the salads with loads of fresh vegetables. But when I come here, I usually go all out and get the burger with the special sauce. Don't think about the fat and calories, of which there are doubtless enough to feed a whole classroom of children in a shanty town in Nepal. Just go for it and don't look back. You won't be sorry!

Then, of course, the piece de resistance of the Factory--the cheesecake. It lives up to the hype! I especially like the tuxedo and the Godiva chocolate flavors.

The biggest downside to the Cheesecake Factory is that it's constantly jam packed with people. I guess that probably speaks well of its quality, but it's still annoying. Also, I find the exhaustive menu a bit daunting, but most people are probably happy to have so many choices.

There isn't much that I could say about this Cheesecake Factory restaurant that I would say about any other location.  Even the service was as good as I have gotten at my local CF.  The bonus to visiting this location was someone in our group had a coupon for a FREE slice of cheesecake . . . and it wasn't just one free slice.  Everyone in my group got their own individual free slice.  WooHoo!  It was a nice surprise for all of us!

All in all, I'd definitely go back if I'm ever in the area again.

i've had to force myself to never go here again. not at any fault of the restaurant. but i did finally happen to glance upon the calories in most of their dishes/desserts and they are really really really bad bad bad. upward of 1200 calories for some of the cheesecakes.. and nearly 2000 for meals! noooo thank you! and dont think you can get away with the salads either. they're horribly high in calories too.
with that said, in the past when i wasnt caring about becoming totally obese, i really really liked any of the pizzas, & salads. the keylime and tuxedo cheesecakes are the best they offer. and believe me. i've tasted nearly all of them.  service is usually efficient. just DONT go on friday nights. ive waited in lines and watched people literally pass out.  go in for lunch at like 11 or 2! you'll get in and out in no time.

My absolute favorite place to get dessert.  My favorite dessert item is the Tiramisu Cheesecake.  Heaven on a plate.

I really wanted to try their food, as I've heard great things about 'em so I chose to go there for my birthday this past year.  Their dishes can be a bit pricey depending on what you get, but you get very large portions.  My husband and I ordered the Hibachi Steak and the Fire Cracker Salmon Roll appetizer and split 'em.   It was so incredibly good.  The Hibachi Steak was the most tender, delicious, decadent steak I've ever had.

The only downfall is the wait.  It's located in the Fashion Mall at Keystone so that's understandable.  So, if you're willing to wait 30-40 minutes try it out!

LOVE this place... HATE the wait. But this place has something for everyone. We took our son one time and when being seated the manager offered to bring us a complimentary plate of baby goodies (fruits and little foods) I thought that was awesome, he just wasn't quite into solid food yet.
Service has always been great, and I look at this place lovingly whenever  I pass near.

The food is pretty good here though there are a few dishes that I thought could use some work.  The cheesecakes though are delicious!  I can't get enough of their white chocolate raspberry cheesecake.  It's out of this world!

The atmosphere is fun and light though it's often very loud there due to the amount of people who frequent there.  Yes, even during off hours it is still rather noisy.  Plus, they often play the music a tad too loud so it makes it rather difficult to hear what people are saying to you.

The staff (or at least the few I've met) all have been very nice, quick with service, and were even willing to take some time to just chat with me.

I've only been there about three or four times since moving here and each time I've enjoyed myself.  The only downside to this place is that they often run out of some of their best cheesecakes and don't re-stock them until days later.  It's sad really.   But other than that this place is pretty good.
