This will sound odd, but my favourite place to have crepes was a place in Japan. It's been a few years since my last flight and I knew that La Paix was around and now I convienently work across the street so I decided to give it a try for lunch.

I ordered an Angry Bird crepe and thoroughly enjoyed it. Next time I would love to have a sweet crepe, but sweets don't make a lunch!

The staff was super friendly. I was the only person in there at the time, which made me a bit sad as I think this place deserves a bit more traffic. They said it picked up later in the afternoon though. I will be recommending it to some of my coworkers.

One of the biggest pluses to this place, and I know it seems small but is a big thing for me, is that every song they played in store was good. I enjoyed them all. I hate going into places and having to fight my distaste for what's pumping from the speakers.

I had the Manchu Piccahu. It's a turkey crepe with spinach. The crepe comes with a side salad.

There are sweet crepe options too! Check this place out.

*This review is for the frozen yogurt, only*

After checking out the Game Preserve (omg so awesome) we attempted to go to Gigi's for some delectable cupcakes.

Alas, it as Sunday and Gigi's was closed.

Instead we noticed La Paix and decided fro-yo would be great on a humid day like today.

If we had been truly hungry, I would have definitely ordered a crepe. (I'm more of a savory crepe person than sweet). They had samples out -- the turkey crepe tasted good but wasn't really the crepe texture I'm familiar with.

Anyway back to the frozen yogurt. 14 flavors! Of the 3 I sampled, I only liked 1. Though the flavor was of the one I liked was GREAT -- it was too damn cold. The yogurt was chewy and plastic-y. It was not creamy and velvety and thus, 2 stars. Also, my frozen yogurt partner felt his gummy bears were stale. Not good.

They also do bubble tea... I guess we walked away not happy with our frozen yogurt choices and also confused on the branding of this store. Lunch? Desert? French? Cafe?

    Cannot recommend.
